In our experience, simply put.....Waipouli Beach Resort is the best place to stay on Kauai. The owner of this unit is great, friendly, and efficient at handling reservations and maintaining a high quality unit. You can't go wrong by picking this place.

Recommended for:People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This unit is awesome! It was spotless when we arrived and very well taken care of. It has upgraded appliances, beautiful granite countertops, stone vanities and floors in bathrooms, wonderful comfortable beds and 4 sets of sliding glass doors to open up to the pool area and ocean. The entire complex was impeccable and perfect. The pool area is fun and has 2 slides for the kids (and adults were sliding down too) and a little beach area for the tiny ones. Any time of day, we were always able to find lounge chairs and even a table to eat at. They had top grade grills available. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful flowers and trees. There is a small shopping center right across the street with restaurants, groceries, and even a drug store. This complex is in Kapaa which is close to the airport (10 min) and in the middle of Kauai. You can easily go to the North Shore or the South Shore which you will want to do. I can't say enough about this place but that if you stay here you will not be disappointed. There are also so many adventurous activities on the island too. We personally took a private charter airplane tour (cheaper than a helicopter too), went on a Zodiac raft excursion along the Na Pali coastline and snorkeled, took quick scuba lessons with 2 dives in to 40 feet of water, rode horses on a private ranch, enjoyed a Luau with great food, rode ATV's and visited where movies were filmed, rented snorkel equipment and swam with sea turtles at Tunnel's Beach, and even went Zip Lining on 9 zip lines with the longest one being 1200 feet! This was our trip of a lifetime and we will carry with us cherished memories with our two teenagers. I don't regret one minute or the money we spent. We met many people who live on Kauai and they were all very friendly and thankful we had visited their home. Our entire trip was perfect and it was always nice to come back to such a beautiful condo. Thank you Isabel for letting us use your place and being so wonderful to us.

This is a fantastic unit. Isabelle does a great job on this website describing the unit with pictures and descriptions. The unit lived up to the grand expectations we had after reading through her description of it. It's exactly as she describes. Fantastic. The unit is immaculate and very clean. The beds were very very comfortable and the unit had a fantastic view. It was well worth the money. We brought our 5 year old with us and we spent part of every day using the water slides! The pool area is one of the best parts of the complex. Note that there is a very nice, long beach walking/jogging path just north of the complex. (go north to the Chevron and turn right.. then follow the road around until it dead ends into the path) We used that path for exercise quite a bit. Isabelle was a saint. She worked with our friends to find a way for both of us to rent two of her units, side by side. That worked out great. In addition, our airline rescheduled both of our flight times at the last minute and we had to ask Isabelle for some help to accommodate those new times. She helped find a solution and it worked out perfectly! If only all rental owners were as cordial and accommodating as Isabelle. You will not be disappointed. This is a high-class unit in an amazing complex. Grocery shopping is right across the street. Costco is 10-15 mins away, as is the airport. Just make sure to do a tour of the island by plane. We used Air Ventures and had a blast. It's well worth the money!

Don't hesitate picking this condo if you are thinking about a family vacation in Kauai. Everything about the condo is as advertised- nicer than any 4 star resort room and a lot bigger. I can't think of one thing negative to say about the place, everything was high quality, worked perfect, and was spotlessly clean. We were there for 15 days- surfing, hiking, kayaking, golfing, etc... and it was great to come back to a condo with all the amenities. We would definitely do it again....after we go to Europe, Greece, Australia, etc....

Our family absolutely LOVED the condo and resort....it was at least as great as we expected. It seems like alot of times we tend to expect things to not be as great as they appear but this was in no way the case. We were so happy that we chose to rent from a private owner vs the resort so that we knew which room exactly we were getting. Isabelle was a great help and so very easy to work with you. The resort had some great amenities...the pool with 2 slides we enjoyed almost daily, sand bottomed spas, proximity to the beach (it was right there!) We would highly recommend this resort and the location of C304 was ideal for us with 2 teenagers and a 6 year old...we could see the pool area and have a view of the ocean....as well as watching the kids feed the koi at the daily 9 a.m. feeding next to the pool. Thanks for a great vacation!

First let me say that my interactions via e-mail w/Isabelle were seamless! Candace, Isabelle's on island property manager, was also outstanding and accomodating. I have stayed in Poipu for all of my visits to Kauai over the past 8 years (visiting at least twice a year) and decided to stay mid-island at the Waipouli Beach Resort because I was curious as to what these condos were like. The pictures I saw online were fantastic. However, staying at the condos was even more spectacular - our view from the condo of the grounds, waterfalls and ocean were breathtaking. The condo interior decorating is superbly done and being a cook, the kitchen was fantastic! Being close to more inexpensive options for dining was a nice change of pace as Poipu is typically a little pricier to eat out. It was also great to have Safeway across the street. People have complained about the traffic in the Kapaa area, but we didn't have any issues with it. You just need to leave your hypertensive, mainland, neurotic self back on the mainland and remember that you're on vacation! Chill out and take time to take in the smells and sights of this beautiful island. Having stayed at the Grand Hyatt and gorgeous homes in the Poipu area, I was so impressed with Isabelle's condo unit and her customer service. I loved it so much that I'm planning on returning in August this year for the Labor Day week. The staff at Waipouli is very hospitable and extremely friendly. We utilized the Aveda Spa services and truly enjoyed being pampered. Isabelle - thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home. It was a joy!

Our family had a fabulous vacation and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waipouli Beach Resort. The location is perfect, centrally located between the north and south shores of the Island. Our toddler enjoyed the children’s pool with sand beach, water slides, and joining other children in helping the resort staff feed the fish daily at 9am. Our teenagers loved relaxing by the, hanging out on the ocean beach, and being close to activities/shopping. Our unit had a wonderful view overlooking the pool. The unit was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all that we needed to prepare meals at home. The beds were extremely comfortable so we all slept well each night. My husband and I are runners so we took advantage of the miles of pathway that runs alongside of the ocean near the resort. The owner was very accommodating before our arrival, helping us make arrangements for a crib for our toddler and addressing all of our questions. We will certainly return and tell our friends!

We just returned from our stay at Waipouli Beach and our first impression was "WOW". The resort was everything we could have hoped for including the friendly staff both in the lobby and at the pool bar/restaurant. The villa was very spacious & included the most "up to date" furnishings & appliances. We travel quite a bit and generally stay at 5* resorts (Disney/Hilton/Marriott) In my opinion this resort has earned a 5*. Mahalo for a wonderful holiday we won't forget.

We just returned from our trip to this resort in Kauai, and I wanted to leave a comment about how wonderful this place is. Everything about it is top-notch. The location was perfect. Our small children loved the pool area so much! The condo was luxurious, comfortable and so clean and well equipped. I can't say enough about this place, I'm recommending it to all my friends!

The resort was beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a nicer condo or better setting for our tropical vacation. It was everything that we wanted and had everything we needed right there. The location was perfect too. Set in the middle of the East coast you could get anywhere on the island in 30 min. I would recommend this resort to anyone and would stay there again in a heart beat!!
