Great house, superb pool, close to the beach.

We have rented this home on two occasions now. The pool and spa are fantastic and the tropical garden is truly beautiful. There is a spacious and private master bedroom suite and an excellent kitchen. One of the most important features for us is that it is only a short walk across A-1-A to a perfect, uncrowded beach; we've spotted dolphins and manatees in the waters nearby. The back yard is spacious and the kids really enjoyed playing volleyball and badminton, as well as jumping in the pool of course. The owner has always been very helpful - we will definitely go back.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

It was easy to rent this home. We had an awesome time! Wish the weather was warmer, but that is Florida and December. Home was very clean & well-maintained. Huge master bedroom with its own bathroom and walkin closet.Gorgeous! Master bedroom had its own access to the pool area. Kitchen had all the amentities of our own home. Pet friendly. Walking distance to the beach. Private-quiet street. Nice size living room. We entertained one evening there, had our family over. Family was impressed with the home. Will stay again, the next time we go down to Florida.

Recommended for:Pet owners.

A Gret Vacation Experience!

Our family of five had a wonderful vacation at this home. The house is clean, spacious, and beautifuly updated! The kids had a lot of fun in the pool and our ShihTzu had a great time running around the back yard. We enjoyed the short walk to the private beach, where we saw a sea turtle comming ashore to lay eggs. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed for cooking. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable! The living room is also very spacious with a large TV and comfortable furniture, as well as the den, we had plenty of room to have family and friends over for an anniversay party. The house was stocked with plenty of beach towels, bath towels, blankets and bedding, and it was very nice to have a washer and dryer to catch up on laundry before leaving. The owner was very pleasant and easy to communicate with and always quick to respond to any questions I had. We would definitly recommend this house!

Great Home For a Perfect Relaxing Vacation

This is a GREAT home and we had a wonderful relaxing vacation ! The home, pool, spa and all amenities were in perfect condition, very clean and everything in order, you could have NOT asked for anything more or anything better. The owners made the rental process from "square one", very easy and the arrangements were made quickly and with little effort. Also, if you are a pet person(s), then this is a great pet friendly property, since we took our 2 dogs with us and even they had a great time running around the yard and lying by the pool. We did have one little "blip" with the internet the first day, but a quick call to the Owner, which they provided the information that was requested and then a quick call to the internet provider and the issue was solved, the Owners could have not been any more friendlier and helpful!! If you are looking for a fully equipped home on a quiet street, close to the beach, away from the traffic and tourists for a most relaxing vacation, then this is the property is for you. We would HIGHLY recommend it to our friends, family and to anyone looking for a GREAT vacation in Vero Beach, Florida. We would definitly consider this property for a return vacation!

Loved the House, the Pool, the Location and Vero Beach

We rented this wonderful home with a heated pool and fenced yard for 3 weeks in March of 2011. We loved it enough to have already booked it for 2012 for 3 months !! The owners are very accomodating and delightful to deal with. The house is very comfortable and in great shape. Vero Beach is a wonderful community with great theater, museum, dog park, gorgeous beaches, super restaurants and a fabulous local gym. An added bonus was a visit to The Navy Seal Museum in Fort Pierce .Everyone in Vero is friendly and it is uncrowded- hardly anyone is on the beaches !! We can't wait to return in January !!.

Very Private and Peaceful, a Terrific Retreat

We love this place and will be returning for the third year in 2012. It is very nicely appointed and wonderfully comfortable...we felt right at home from the first day. Great master suite with large walk-in closet and private access to lushly landscaped heated pool and spa, fully equipped cook's kitchen, very useful computer room/den ( I could stay current with my business from this home computer), large living room with TV/DVD etc., fireplace and access to the shaded patio adjoining the pool. Extremely private and quiet, with only a nice 5 minute walk to a vast, and nearly empty beach. Beach walking for miles! Convenient to town center, and the Fresh Market is just over the bridge. It has provided us with awarm, sunny respite from the New England winter. Can't wait to return!

Nice Home - Very Poor Owner Relations RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK

This could have been a great review, but it turned very sour due to owner’s incredulous decision to keep deposit money for unjust charges. It was a great house, but be wary as owners may want to keep your deposit for their own negligence. Issue: Arrived Saturday afternoon and although owner indicated pool would be attended that morning it had not been attended in some time as we spent probably 1-2 hours skimming and getting all the debris our of the pool. The filter was completely plugged on the unit indicating it had not been serviced. Another issue was that the vacuum, although attached, had a dry-rotted section, so no suction and was useless. The pool man did finally come mid week (Wednesday and in the afternoon and had to 'shock' the pool, thus we could not swim the rest of the evening. Overall, this would not have been a big issue at all, but to our complete surprise when we received our deposit money back the owners incredulously docked $100 for the broken vacuum and needing someone to come out and 'reshock' the pool even though this was an issue when we arrived. I realize $100 is not much, but it is the principle that we as renters we were inconvenienced by the owner’s lack of pool maintenance, yet then had the audacity to charge us for it. When the pool service came on Wednesday we told them about the broken hose, but either they did not inform the owner or frankly the owner did not care. When we contacted the owner, never got much of a response. In summary, nice home, but I would advise not to rent as the owner may try to stick fraudulent charges against you and their are plenty of renters out there where you will not have to deal with this type of headache.

Owner response:Prior to this to rental. We had repeat guests who enjoyed their two weeks stay and the pool. We received notification from our repeat guests that a small piece of the hose was damaged. This piece was removed and we contacted our service for replacement, the repeat guests checked out. Our house manager inspected the pool and vacuum at that time and although the hose was short all was operational. Later on that day our Kentucky guests checked in. We did not hear from them until the day they were checking out, we received an email stating what a great time they had and planned on writing a favorable review. In addition, they mentioned the pool hose. I believed it was the small piece of the hose that was missing. Later on the same day, we received a call from our house manager, stating that the vacuum was out the pool and the hoses were scattered around the yard as if the children were allowed to play with them and the pool had started to turn green. Our pool service was contacted immediately, he stated the hoses were damaged and the pool was green due to the pump being left on the spa setting and not pool setting. Also the heater was left on and running at 105 degrees. (he shocked the pool and replaced the hoses and returned the settings properly) We have been renting this home for seven years and this is the first time we have kept any portion of a guests security.Our reason for keeping the security was clearly explained to our Kentucky guests and unfortunately they did not agree. In addition, I needed to pay our cleaning service extra for the amount of litter scattered around the yard and the extra labor needed to clean the house. I did not charge back for the extra labor and/or make it an issue. I can say that normally I do not rent for less than 5 nights and I made an exception for our Kentucky guests. I think I will keep to the 5 night rule.

Very nice home & tropical pool setting

This is a very nice home with a lovely pool surrounded by tropical foilage. The furnishings are very comfortable and there is plenty of open space as the rooms are huge. The kitchen is fully equipped. We found everything in good working order. Plenty of room to park your own car in the garage. This is a very quiet neighborhood. Shopping & dining conveniently located about 5 miles away. Great place to stay, away from it all, yet close enough to anything you would want to do. We were provided with names & phone numbers of who to contact in case of problems, but we had none. I have already recommended it to a friend, and will continue to do so. The pictures you see on the rental description do not show you how great this property is. This is the best rental property that we have ever used for vacation.
