In the heart of Provence, facing the Luberon Mountains, "Le Mas Bel Azur" overlooks the Durance Valley. Set in the countryside, amid the vineyards of Aix en Provence, the property is on the "wine and Chateaux" trail of the region. It is 10 miles from Aix en Provence, a 5-minute-drive from the Silvacane Abbey and within 45 minutes of charming Luberon mountain villages such as Apt, Bonnieux and Lourmarin.

This is a comfortable country home with a swimming pool (fenced and equipped with alarm), a large shaded outdoor eating area, an acre of mowed and planted yard, fruit and olive trees, and views of the Luberon mountains to the north. There are hillside walks and easy access to many towns, villages, vineyards, hikes and historic places.

The summer offers cultural opportunities of all kinds. In July and August, Aix has an opera festival and La Roque d'Antherons (45 minutes away) has a piano festival. Avignon (45 minutes away) is well known for its July drama festival.The village of l'Isle sur la Sorgues, a 45-minute drive, is a center of antiques. And those seeking the healing of the region of the region's baths can find balenotherapy or thalassotheray in Aix en Provence or in La Roque d'Antheron.

In addition to renting the property, tenants can engage the services of two people. One is a great Provencal and French cook. The other can meet you at the airport and drive you anyplace you need to go.We would behappy to fill the refrigerator and pantry for your arrival if you provide a list in advance. Babysitting also can be arranged.
