We visited Playa Blanca Villas in December for six nights (up to Christmas Day). What a beautiful place, georgous sunsets, beautiful beach, well maintained unit, clean, fantastic gardening and gardener. Also, our hosts, Carol and Phil are awesome, lots of good instructions and travel tips (from Carol) and fishing guidance (from Phil). We especially enjoyed the secluded location, great for quality family time away from it all! (my hubby loved awakening in the mornings to the rooster from the back neighbouring area, I loved the morning sunshine)

What a great time we had!!! Cheryl and I spent 8 weeks at the Villas in 08 and 09. The entire place is immaculate and well managed, the staff very helpful and efficient, the villa is very comfortable and roomy, the surf fishing was great, the food exceptional, our favorite was 'Carols Bistro', and on top of all this Phil and Carol treat you like family. Our stay at Playa Blanca exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. I was initially worried that it would be too secluded for our 3 teenage sons but it turned out to be an asset. Only 25-20 minutes drive away from the touristy hustle and bustle of Zihua, it was a relief to return to our villa. To have miles of pristine beach to yourself (we had to share it with a school of dolphins on our last night- what a way to end the trip!), was wonderful. The surf was up while we were there which was perfect for my kids- lots of boogie boarding and bodysurfing. The infinity pool was picturesque and the temperature was just right. Brisamar next door was great for meals, the newly opened Chula Vida a bit further down the beach was delicious- highly recommend the tuna appetizer and the shrimp tacos. Order guacamole anywhere and you will not be disappointed. We did several excursions in the area- fishing, surfing at Playa Saladita, kayaking in the lagoons at Barra de Potosi........ Can you tell we loved it? Will definitely return and bring our oldest son with us next time.

This is very, very late in coming but, our 2 families wanted to say how amazing our stay was in March, 2008. We stayed in Zihua for 2 weeks then to Playa Blanca for one week. Next time we'll go straight to Playa Blanca and Kirk's townhouse. It was great meeting you and our accomodations and the grounds surpassed our expectations. Thanks again!

Just wanted to let the public know how amazing this property is. Phil and Carol are the greatest hosts by far. As an added bonus to make your trip truly relaxing ask Carol for the Massage folks to come in and take care of you . If you are lucky enough to be there for longer than a week get a massage at the start of your trip and the day before you leave, it is so worth it. FYI this was our second stay here and we will be booking for 2009 by years end.

Kirk- We just wanted to thank you again for all your help with the Condo and info you provided for the area. We had a fabulous time!! Phillip and Carol were very nice and gracious. The maid and garden staff were awesome and so nice! We enjoyed all the wildlife we saw. Several we have never seen before or had not seen close up so it was a lot of fun for us all. The beach was beautiful. We bought a flash light just to go look at crabs on the beach at night! Sunsets and sunrises you will never forget. The condos are very well maintained and spacious. The nearby town has a lot to do and the locals were all very nice. It was a great, fun relaxing family vacation for all!

We just returned from our week stay at Villas Playa Blanca and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation! It was truly a tropical oasis! We have two small children (10 months and 2 years old) and it was perfect for a family getaway. There are actually three parts to the pool (one area for the little ones to just sit and splash around in, a wading pool for toddlers and then a normal pool for adults and older children). The beach was absolutely pristine and we loved our sunrise and sunset walks on such a clean and beautiful beach. The location was far enough away from the hustle and bustle yet only a 20 minute drive into town for necessities. There are only good comments to say about this wonderful place and I would highly recommend it to others! Thanks so much!

We had the best time, the very best holiday ever at Condo Bobby,Playa Blanca,Zihuatanejo.Wonderful accomodation, people,food & fun. If you like to do your own thing at your own pace, this is for you.Horse back riding, fishing (dirrado & sail fish) not to mention great food close by and all the amenities. We are going again this and next and so on & so on. The staff are supberb, and the sheer beauty is breathtaking. My family has owned and rented condos at Villas Playa Blanca for a couple of years now. We started with just one or two, and now have several condos that we own and have prepared for personal vacationing and renting. The people who have rented from us in the past have enjoyed the experience very much. We make it our top priority to ensure that your stay with us is pleasurable and memorable. Most of our guests have returned to us again. :-) I guarantee you won't find a more relaxing, peaceful or romantic getaway anywhere. I have traveled and worked in Mexico for more than 10 years, and have stayed in hotel s and properties all over the country. This property was exceptional. The home is modern comfortable, and has a beautiful view. The grounds are immaculate. The location is very private and away from the crowds. If you are looking to get away from the large hotel scene and noisy nights, this is the place. We rented a car for convenience, and driving to town is simple and not more than about 20 minutes. Since the property is not near any supermarkets or commercial centers, you need to be a little self sufficient. We purchased groceries to stock the refrigerator and combined snacking along with taking a few nights ou to go to restaurants. The owners were excellent and helpfull, there was plenty of local information listed in a booklet telling us what restaurants and activities could be accessed easily. At the end of our trip our deposit was quickly refunded, and we´ll plan to go back again. This property would be great for a family or freinds wanting share a place, it´s very roomy. Just a warning for the kids, there is no cable or satilite for the T.V. Bring books for reading. If you are into having a room in a hotel with breakfast buffets, drinks at the pool swim up bar, and the band playing music until 2 in the morning ... this is not the place.

Viewing the Villa on VRBO was very intriguing, but when we actually arrived, it took our breath away, it was so beautiful. My daughter, her friend, grandson & I just spent 10 days in Paradise! Kudos to everyone from Phil & Carol, the groundskeeper & crew & the maids for the beautiful grounds & villa. The infinity pool is fantastic & the walk on the beach watching the ocean swollow the sun is an experience to remember. Loved every minute of our ten days & looking forward to next year. Already missing listening to the sounds of the waves as I fall asleep. Carol

We found heaven on earth at Playa Blanca. After arriving later than planned due to air travel, Carol and Phil greeted us with open arms, food and drink. The road from the airport to the Villas is not the best so drive slow and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Your jaw will drop when you see the grounds and the Villa. Very,very clean, beautiful and peaceful. The nice thing about Playa Blanca is, it is very secluded, and yet only minutes from the airpot and shopping. A short walk down the beach is one of the best restaurants in the area. The pool overlooks the ocean and the sun sets are to die for. I have been to numerous resorts and have never been to an area like this. It is very secure, clean and beautiful. You will not be disappointed. TOP NOTCH and very reasonable.

It's exactly as it is represented online. My family and I were very pleased. Quiet. We felt we had the entire beach to ourselves. The grounds are immaculate. The caretakers are very nice and helpful. We rented a car and went sightseeing every day.

Kirk, My stay at the Villas was 30 days during Nov-Dec '07. I have never had a more relaxing, restful vacation. The accommodations were outstanding! The Villa grounds, pool, views, and beach, were all picture perfect. Kayaking in the lagoon, and catching a trophy Dorado made this a vacation I will never forget. I am returning in Feb.'08 in pursuit of trophy yellowfin, sailfish, and marlin. I recommend your villas to anyone who wants to experience a Mexico beach vacation without the crowds.

Absolutely wonderful! We live in paradise - but sleeping to the crash of waves and waking to the incredible ocean views has shown us another paradise! We have rented villas in Mexico, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. Our unit at Villas Playa Blanca was one of the cleanest and best maintained we've ever rented. The Pool is to die for. The guests and owners were very friendly making the sunset chats around the pool fun and welcoming. It's a great place to stay if you want to be away from the crowds, but only a 20 minute drive to town for dinner and shopping. Our favorite pastime is snorkeling so most days we would drive to the best snorkel spots for a late morning outing then get an early supper in town and be back to the pool for sunset.

We have stayed at these condos several times now and keep coming back. We sarted coming to Mexico over 10 years ago and have stayed in both Zih. and Ixtapa. Now we only stay in Playa Blanca. The peacful surroundings and friendly people keep bringing us back. One of the great advantages to staying at these condos are Phil and Carol who manage the rentals, always a pleasure to speak with and everything runs smooth under their guidance. Five star accomodation with five star management. Highly reccomended

Owner response:Technically Phil and Carol aren't "managers". They are lifelong friends who live at the Villas and handout the keys to our guests as a personal favor.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the villas on 3 occasions, with another coming soon. It is a wonderful place to relax and really enjoy the peace and quiet that sometimes is hard to find in Mexico. The pool is one of the finest around and the accommodations lack nothing. Phil and Carol, whom are now good friends, make the picture perfect. I have recommended this place to my closest friends and would also suggest that it is one of the best places to stay in Mexico.

We had an awesome vacation at the Villas at Playa Blanca. The hosts are friendly and helpful and all is well-maintained and tasteful. The grounds are truly beautiful. The infinity pool was our favorite, postcard views and romantic atmosphere- but no sand in my suit, just my style! We were truly sold when we walked down the beach to the quaint little "barra" where the waves were small, the shells were great, and the food and drinks were the best!! Then, we strolled home, blended up something cool and swung in our hammocks under the palapas and knew we'd be back again. We all had a great and memorable time...
