Snowshoe Mountain Resort is the best skiing south of northern New England, and is visited regularly by vacationers from Pennsylvania to Florida, and west to Indiana, Michigan and beyond. High in Pocahontas County (the highest county east of the Mississippi) the headwaters for 8 rivers can be found. Very lush green and naturally cool in the summer, white and exhilerating in the winter, this vacationland is everything you'd expect when you think "Wild and Wonderful." The Summit Condominium complex has received a major facelift in 2005-2006, including new windows, siding and decks on all units. The Summit provides views to the west are ever changing and always spectacular. Deer and bear wander around the grounds providing excitement and closeness to nature.

Located in the central village, the shops, restaurants, and slopes are a five-minute walk away! Or catch the shuttle that regularly passes by the front door. Easy to get home for lunch, snack, or nap!

Our place is on the top floor, south-facing end of the building. This gives additional natural light, and provides some quietness and privacy enhancement. This location is perfect for the spectacular views over the valley below and across the mountains as far as the eye can see. You will see hawks at eye level from this vantage point, and deer and bear by looking down over the railing.

The sleeping arrangements include a bedroom with queen bed, another with a double bed, and the third with two twin beds. A pullout sofa provides a queen-sized sleeping arrangement in the living room.

Linens and basic supplies (dish cleaner, toilet paper and trash bags) are provided. Refreshed towels and supplies are provided for stays longer than four nights. We reserve the right to add a cleaning fee to non-ski season rentals of less than four nights.

  • Great place to stay. Unit was able to accomodate 8 plus a toddler running around everywhere. Location was good, shuttle bus was awesome! We got 13 inches of snow while we were there. Fireplace came in handi. Sauna available, but did not use it. Overall 2 thumbs up!!! Would love to stay here again. Western views were amazing also.

  • This condo was in a great location right next to the Village and walking distance to everything. It was clean and cozy with plenty of room for larger groups. The view from the back deck is amazing. We will definately stay here again.

  • This condo is great for the price! Owners gave us a great deal for MLK weekend and were very accomodating. Quick responses to emails especially. The view is amazing and we saw deer walking below the balcony everyday. We really enjoyed the fireplace, and we were glad there were so many places to hang jackets and a mud room to store our skis. We also were glad to be so close to the slopes. We would definitely stay there again.
