Presidents Day Weekend

We stayed here with 6 people which was a perfect fit. Very close to the village and easy parking. New kitchen counter is a nice addition. Kitchen is small but complete and a great way to save some $ on meals. Only change I might recommend is upgrading the TV. Great owners and easy to work with. Hope to be back!

Owner response:Christopher and his group were wonderful guests, and we appreciate the positive comments. We have a flat-screen in one of the bedrooms, but the other two are not so old, but definitely old-school. They still put out a lot of good heat!! :)

There are certainly more swanky places at Snowshoe, but this unit was perfect for our family. I brought my wife and kids (0 and 2), grandmother, and two adult friends met us there. We had room to spare and enjoyed several big meals in the unit. Love the black-out curtain in the bedrooms, let us sleep in until the kids woke up... and the walk to the main village was not a big deal (5 minutes). We discovered the shuttle system after a few days! Hope to go back next year!

Owner response:We always get a special gratification when guests express their enjoyment of our place at The Summit. Will is right, it is a vintage place (30 years old, or so), with the original panel walls, and a lived-in feel, but we've upgraded many aspects in our 11 years of ownership, and it has become a better place with each year. The new sauna heater was installed a day after Will left, so we hope he returns to enjoy its benefits, one of the "extras" at Summit 301-C. Thanks, Will, for leaving this positive comment. Jim

The best at Snowshoe

I have rented lots of places at Snowshoe. This one tops them all. My family could easily catch the shuttle service to anywhere. My children wanted to ski longer and later than me at Silver Creek. No problem I caught the shuttle back to the condo and they caught a later shuttle. GREAT location because we could easily walk to the Snowshoe slopes and village. It was a quiet location because of the third floor and end unit location.The owners were very easy to work with. The refund of the security deposit was very quick. We hope to rent again.

Great Condo With Beautiful Views!!!!

My friends and I have used the condo for 3 years now and plan to use it for many more. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather with snow two nights and clear blue skies during the day which made for great views from the condo's dinning area. Owners are very easy to work with and the condo is always clean and as described.

Great place to stay! Condo was comfortable and cozy with plenty of space. Everything was well maintained and all the necessities were provided. Location was very convenient, all we had to do was walk up the stairs and cross the road and we'd be at center village. We also saw beautiful deer in the backyard. Our group enjoyed the stay there and would definitely come back!

Great place to stay. We enjoyed it very much. Conveniently located to village. We were greeted by LOTS of deer everyday, they were the neighborhood pets :) Saw 4 bucks in the mix of deers as well. Never had seen so many deer at once. Beautiful views. Very comfy condo with great communication by the owners. Will definitely stay again. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

We enjoyed our stay at Summit 301C over Martin Luther King weekend in Jan 2010, this is a cosy, clean and well kept apartment, kitchen was well equipped for preparing and cooking meals, rooms were comfy, all appliances worked, great fireplace and views too! We saw lots of deer.

Jim(the owner) may be one of the most reliable hosts in the resort. He knows how to converse with people. I met many guesthouse owners in Nepal and Pakistan who opened their business because they like meeting people and showing hospitality and I felt something similar from Jim. He will make sure he does everything he can to make your stay enjoyable. Don't hesitate to make a deal with this guy. He will not only make a good deal with you but often do a favor for you.

We stayed at this location February 18-22,2009 and absolutely loved it. Mr. Winter treated us well with record snow fall the weekend we were visiting. It is very convenient to the village and we enjoyed seeing the deer out back every day. We would definately stay here again.

Went to condo for fall foliage and were not disappointed. Saw colors change everyday and also saw the deer everyday. The views were amazing. You could even see the valley from the dining area. Fantastic location. Stairs lead right up to the village. We got a special surprise right away when we saw a gray wolf skulking in the woods below early in the morning! The baby deer shot up below our balcony while the mother sped away to get the wolf to chase her. The baby deer just stood below in shock crying. We thought we were going to see a National Geographic moment and didn't want to look. After ten minutes the baby ran away and no more wolf. We also saw two foxes come up at night. If you want views, a comfortable stay, some animal encounters and easy access to the village...this is the place!

This is a great condo! It has all the amenities of home and is a very comfortable place to stay. It is very convenient to the Village and we enjoyed seeing the deer out back every day. To top it off, the owner was wonderful to deal with! We give it two thumbs up.

Great place to stay. Unit was able to accomodate 8 plus a toddler running around everywhere. Location was good, shuttle bus was awesome! We got 13 inches of snow while we were there. Fireplace came in handi. Sauna available, but did not use it. Overall 2 thumbs up!!! Would love to stay here again. Western views were amazing also.

Condo was a great deal. Excellent location, just walk up the stairs to the village, plenty of room for everyone and we saw deer every day from the balcony. Owners were great with quick responses to all questions.

Had a WONDERFUL week-long stay! Plenty of room to spread out. Very comfortable condo. Lots of places to hang our biking gear. Beautiful sunsets and views of the valley from the deck and dining table. Enjoyed the wildlife that came by. Great location...close to the Village. Will definitely stay here again!

This condo was in a great location right next to the Village and walking distance to everything. It was clean and cozy with plenty of room for larger groups. The view from the back deck is amazing. We will definately stay here again.

This condo is great for the price! Owners gave us a great deal for MLK weekend and were very accomodating. Quick responses to emails especially. The view is amazing and we saw deer walking below the balcony everyday. We really enjoyed the fireplace, and we were glad there were so many places to hang jackets and a mud room to store our skis. We also were glad to be so close to the slopes. We would definitely stay there again.
