I'm sorry it took me so long to write my review. We had an amazing time during our stay at Loony Dunes. My family and I spent the week there and had such a great time. We had some rough weather the first night we were there and Ange called to make sure we had arrived safely and were ok at the house. The house and view were even more beautiful than the pictures show. The weather was a little chilly to spend much time on the beach but we could enjoy the view and the sound of the surf from the house. I would definitely recommend renting from Ange.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a great trip! We went with a group of 16 people, 6 adults and 10 kids ages 18-4 and had plenty of room for all of us. This location is perfect for those wanting a more private beach area and a back yard feeling to their beach availabilty. The owner provided plenty of beach equipment so pack lightly. The patios are shaded 24 hours which allows you to take a break from the sun but without having to go inside. The view from both patios is relaxing and addicting. The owner was friendly and available when needed. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Ange (the owner) is absolutely wonderful. The process of securing the rental was very smooth; she provides you with excellent information regarding the process, the rental, and your stay. There was constant communication throughout the process. Ange's home is fabulously appointed - everything you could need or want is made available, making packing a breeze. The kitchen is stocked with every dish, utensil, pot, pan, and appliance you could desire (and sometimes two - coffee pots and microwaves)! There is ample bedding and room for sleeping to house several large families (we comfortably slept 14 people and did not even get out the air mattresses that are provided). There is no need to lug beach supplies or spend extra money at the shore, as Ange has an entire room chock full of adorodaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, floats, boards, noodles, and even some fishing gear. There is also a charcoal grill and fire ring for on the beach entertaining. I would also like to add that you always worry about something bad happening on a trip and there is no one to take care of it. Well, worry not, because Ange also has wonderful people working for her. We had a lightning strike that caused problems with power, appliances, and even a thermostat blew...Ange had multiple people at the house remedying the situation within an hour! The moral of the story is the rental is as much about the renter and the care that they give their property and renters as it is about the destination. Ange makes going to the shore a pleasurable process start to finish and makes your stay much more comfortable along the way. Finally, the Fort Morgan area is simply the best for a relaxing getaway. There are no crowded beaches, noisy youngsters, traffic jams, or really any problems to deal with. This is a very quaint area that will be on my travel itenerary for many years to come. As for recommendations for area attractions, restaurants, etc...well, Ange has taken care of that too! There is a giant three-ring binder full of advice, recommendations, brochures, menus, etc that is constantly updated by the owner and those who stay...what a great idea and resource!Did you find this review helpful? We had an excellent adventure here! This was literally a last minute find for spring break. Ange was very accomodating as far as price, and check in! We had 4 moms & 12 kids :) I would recommend this to anyone who just wants to sit and enjoy the scenery. The house is clean and neat, fully furnished and no extra sheet/towel charge. There are plenty of toys and a grill. The water is beautiful and were close enough to town if a day trip was needed. Grocery shopping and the med center (which we had to use) are only 20 minutes away. We look forward to booking this place again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
