Nice two-story, two bedroom townhouse style condominium with an oceanview and only steps to the beach.
It is less than five minutes walk to the Pier but you are not in the middle of the center either.
There are not many two-story townhomes like this. It is tastefully decorated and nicely furnished. The bottom floor has the living area, kitchen and bathroom. The top floor has two good sized bedrooms with one queen and one full size bed. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils, toaster, etc. The bathroom has a stand-up shower with good pressure and hot water. There is air-conditioning and heat. The total size is 408 sq. ft.
The Pirates Cove miniature golf complex is located almost directly behind and across the street from the condos on the back side (away from the ocean). Very close to the OOB train station. The pathway to the beach is DIRECTLY across the street and about 100 paces from your front door to the sand.
There are restaurants and shops all around this townhouse and you don't even have to get in your car all week if you so choose. There is one off-street parking space that is directly in front of your door. If you do choose to travel in the car, there are many attractions close by. Funtown-Splashtown USA, the Aquaboggin, and a drive-in theater are all within 10 minutes by car. Portland is only 20 minutes and LL Bean is about 30 minutes. No matter how you choose to enjoy your stay, you will leave with great memories and look forward to returning again and again.
Note that this is an ocean view (from upstairs bedroom) and not ocean front property. I do not want to mislead anyone nor do I want anyone to be mislead by other ads. The location is among the best on the beach and you can't beat the price but it is not ocean front. The path to the beach is 100 steps from the front door to the sand.

Location. Family oriented and pet friendly.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
the location is really ideal. It is far enough from the Pier to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to be in the middle of it within 4-5 minute walk.

We stayed at the Sands in Fall 2010 and had a wonderful week of beach walking and exploring the area. Location is perfect and the townhouse was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The owner was exceptionally responsive when we were booking, whenever we had a question, and when we had a minor problem with internet connection. And we loved being able to bring our dog. We would recommend the property especially to couples, families with small children, and families with one older child. It might be a little small for families with more than one older child.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children.
