This is an excellent vacation spot, whether you want to just relax and enjoy a California beach, or use this as a home base for excursions to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Sea World, San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Wild Animal Park. The large, roomy home is impeccably maintained and beautifully furnished. We loved the large modern kitchen, and spent quite a bit of time just vegging out in front of the big screen TV in the front room. (It was a LONG tax season.) Thank you for a great relaxing time!

The roominess of this vacation home is fabulous and accomodates our family very well. We had stayed here a couple years ago and knew how well we fit so chose it again. There is so much to do that we never get it all finished but what a wonderful time we have trying! The ocean is only a few blocks away and there is so much equipment provided for our use. Once a year our family gets together in different locations and for special events. This year it was for Flo's and my 65th wedding aniversery and our grand daughters wedding. The house provided a location close to most family members and a place away from the 40 plus people to relax and have a few visit us. It was one of the best choices we could have made. Four or five at a time enabled us to get personal. We enjoyed the beach walks and the close axcess to stores. The house was perfect, comfortable and clean. Jody is an exceptional hostess and we were grateful for the chance to meet her. If we ever come back to the area we will use the house as our vacation again.

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay at your lovely home. We had a good time getting together and going over pictures from our childhood and sorting them and reminiscing our childhood memories. Everything was comfortable and boy did you think of every single thing. I even came away with some good ideas for my own home. We never had time to enjoy the bikes but would have loved to do that. There was just never enough time for that. Most of us sisters did enjoy daily walks along the beach so that was enjoyable. The Farmer's Market that we found on Thursday was a great delight as well. We certainly had a good time there and we all went home with good memories for sure. Thank you again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tremont Villa in Oceanside, CA. It had all the comforts of home.... if you live in a million dollar home! All the furnishings and accomodations were first rate: well-stocked kitchen; plush, comfortable beds; great location for the beaches and downtown Oceanside; fire pit on the roof; TV's in every room, and it easily fit our party of 6. This will become a regular stop for us since we love vacationing in southern California.

We absolutely loved our stay at this vacation rental. It is exactly as pictured on the internet. It was very comfortable for our family of 13. It was very clean and fully stocked for our stay. It was a wonderful place to return to from whatever we had done that day. We enjoyed using the beach "toys" that were provided for our use. It was a short walk to the beach and the pier. The drive to San Diego and Disneyland were no problem at all. Then it was very nice to come home to such a nice place. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice place to stay in Oceanside. We are trying to plan a time that we can return, soon. Jody had thought of everything and is very nice to work with. You can't go wrong staying here.

Our family vacation was one of the best ever due in part to the owners and the home itself. The layout and location are perfect for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The house has plenty of space for all, also very kid-friendly, even for our 2 year old twins. The house has everything you could possibly imagine- the kitchen is well-equipped and had all the amenities we needed to cook at home, the garage was stocked with bikes, beach chairs and more...perfect for the beach and the neighborhood. The linens, towels, and all the extras were top quality and we never needed anything more! The roof top patio and fire pit were a huge hit and great for summer nights. I would highly recommend this home and owner to anyone out there, you will not be dissapointed!

My son was getting married in San Diego so we needed a place for 2 families to stay for a few days. We wanted to be all in one place so the cousins could spend some quality time together. This was an amazing place and was so close to the beach we never had to drive to it, allowing the kids to come and go with whatever small chunk of time was available. The beach was clean and safe! (Unlike a beach we had stayed at 4 years previously, closer to San Diego)The boys loved the pool table upstairs at night and the large kitchen was a great bonus at mealtimes! Jody was very helpful with whatever we needed and went the extra mile. The house was clean and obviously well cared for with all the extras (like beach towels) you don't have extra room in your luggage for! I didn't discover the wonderful Scripps Park at La Jolla until we killed time before the flight home the last day. Seeing the seals was amazing and there were miles of beach. I could have spent a lot more time there and would highly recommend it!

I've stayed at this vacation home for the last two years and have always loved the stay. The owners are accommodating and the home is clean and well kept. Terrific Vacation Home

The information provided on this beach home was accurate, yet we were even more impressed when we arrived. The home is immaculate, very well cared for, beautifully furnished, and the tropical decor provided us with a restful, relaxing ambience. All amenities are provided which made settling into our 'home away from home' stress free. When we arrived, we were met by the owner, Jody. We found her welcome very personable and gave us an opportunity to tour the house and have many of its freatures explained to us. Any questions we had were answered at this time and she encouraged us to contact her if need be. The house is close to the beach and the pier and this became one of our daily walking routes. Public transportation is only a few blocks away from the house. Since we had a vehicle we did not use it but it was there for anyone that wanted to. Freeways were easily accessible to a variety of tourist attractions and shopping facilities. The scenery was beautiful regardless what direction you chose to travel. Driving along the coastal highway was especially beautful. It was so nice to see many of the spring flowers and shrubs in bloom; a total contrast to the snow we left behind in AB, Canada. We prepared many of our own meals because of special dietary needs and found the kitchen very well equipped. From our experiences, we would highly recommend the house to adults and families. The only limitation we receive would be to anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs; all bedrooms are on the second floor. The games room and the roof top deck are on the third level. We had a great vacation and look forward to returning in the future.

BEST EVER...COMING BACK FOR 3 MONTHS

Jody is a superb owner. Home was emaculate when we moved in for 2 months. Jody takes care of issues immediately. Everything in the kitchen is first class. Furniture is very comfortable. Beds were extremely comfortable. Linens were top quality. Because of location we could leave car in garage for a week at time. Walked to beach daily, walked to movie theater, excellent restaurants, museums, and drug store. It took less than an hour to drive to San Diego venues/airport, Temecula Wine Country, and Orange County beaches. The little extras like DVDs, sand toys, books, and games were especially appreciated by our grandson when he visited. The outdoor Weber grill and rooftop fire pit were especially appreciated by grandpa. Front room could use a couple of side tables for holding drinks while watching TV. For a long term stay it would be nice to have a few added channels on TV like Hallmark. I would highly recommend this rental to everyone from young families to retirees. Two retired couples could easily share this house for several weeks.

We used this house as a headquarters for our wedding at a local state park. It was big enough to host some friends and family and with the big screen tv's, pool table and firepit on the roof, it made for a fun place for people to hang out with us after the wedding. The amenities are great and everything was provided to us for us to use. Clean, modern and cozy right near the beach. A perfect place for us and highly recommended.

This home could not have been any more beautiful or appropropriate for a gathering of seven women to come together annually for a reunion. The home was very clean and well maintained, the furnishings were lovely and comfortable. Easy walking to the beach, pier and restaurants in a safe environment. It did take me a night or two to get used to the nearby trains traveling at night and early morning, but then it did not bother me....was just part of the ambiance.

Great Place for a Family Vacation

This is a wonderful place for a large family or a two smaller families. Our family of 10 loved this house. It is a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach so it is easy to walk down for an early morning walk, go again for a swim and then later to watch the sunset. The house is fully furnished with all linens. It has a fully stocked kitchen which even included a good assortment of spices for your cooking and great knives (can't stand dull ones). In the garage, there are all kinds of beach goodies such as boogie boards, beach chairs and even buckets and sand molds for the little ones. Bikes, including a tandem bike, can also be found in the garage along with helmets for protections. One of our favorite memories will be our last night where we roasted hot dogs and made s'mores up on the balcony deck fire pit. What a great ending to our vacation! We will be back again.

Exactly as Pictured

Having just returned from a busy vacation in southern California, I am happy to recommend this property. It was exactly as pictured--very spacious and immaculate. Our party consisted of 5 adults and two children and we had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. While visiting the area we went to Sea World, The Wild Animal Park (where my daughter and I rode the zip line), The U.S. Midway Museum, Legoland, and to Disneyland. My daughter rode the nearby Metro to L.A. to visit a friend and found the ride to be mostly coastal and beautiful , ending at Union Station. We had a variety of restaurants to choose from and were sorry we didn't discover the excellent ones at the Harbor until near the end of our visit. ( The seafood restaurant near the pier provided an excellent sunset view.) Since the beach and pier were only about three blocks away, we went to the beach quite often. While walking on the pier we saw dolphins and even a whale. We were sorry to leave. The sure sign of a good time.

The home is extremely comfortable, convenient and very well equipped for the family. The quality of kitchenware, laundry and all the "home" needs helped make it all manageable. Plus we have cousins and family in the area who came to visit. Even one soldier on R&R at Pendleton for 2 weeks had time to drive down. And we had space to feed a dozen folks! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was just what we needed. The weather in Denver has been zero to 30 degrees without a break of any warm days. This weekend has been sunny and 65-70 degrees the whole time. We were all able to recharge our batteries. There were six in our group (2 adults, 4 kids) and your home was very comfortable for us. The kids played pool most of the time that we weren't at the beach and we sipped wine & made s'mores by the fire pit. It was great fun! Thank you for everything. We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at this wonderful home in October. The pictures do not begin to do it justice. The homeowner was very accomodating from the beginning of our correspondence and was always very quick to reply to our inquiries. A warm, welcoming note and box of chocolate macadamia nuts were waiting for us when we arrived. The house is well stocked with dishes and supplies and we did not need to buy any condiments during our stay. The home is located within easy driving distance of San Diego, so we were able to do all of the wonderful tourist sites that the city has to offer. The home was close enough to the beach that we were able to enjoy a couple of beautiful sunsets while we were there. We would definitely recommend this home and hope to go back again soon.

My family and our special guest from Houston Texas had the great fortune of staying at this facility. After comparing it to local hotels it was a no brainer in my mind. We had eight of us staying at the home and had room to spare. Never did we feel like we were tripping over one another. The home is in walking distance to a very beautiful and clean beach, which we all enjoyed several times during our stay. The home is very clean, and well maintained. It is located in a very clean and quiet neighborhood that is not far from Carlsbad shops and dining. We had meals at three of the restaurants, 2 sit down and 1 fast food (I can't remeber the names-sorry) and enjoyed them all. The home is also within a very reasonable (all freeway) drive to Sea World and Lego Land which our kids could not get enough of. We saved additional money by utilizing all the amenities (grill, boogie boards, bikes, etc) this home offers and hotels charge you extra for. This ownership has thought of everything you could need on a family vacation, accurately depicts the property on the webpage, and genuinely cares about your experience. In my mind they went above the call of duty for us. They made you feel like family-not visitors. The home was recommended to me by a family memeber and I will happily pass on high marks about this San Diego gem to anyone and everyone who will listen. This was my first time in Cali and I loved it! This house is a dream house. I enjoyed seeing the ocean for the first time. Having my feet touching the sand and the ocean was an experiance that I will never forget. Picking sea shells laughing and enjoying life. I would have to say, Jody, you have made this a wonderful experience. I have got to know you personally through my first experience when I was hospitalized in March and through speaking to you off/on... We were honored Matt and I to be able to not only get married here on the beach but to stay in this dream home. The house alone was everything I expected through pix and MUCH MORE. I know our son loved it. Sometimes he had a hard time finding who he was looking for out of our group, but so did I have trouble finding him... There were five or so in our group who had never seen the ocean so for them it was a lifetime experience they will never forget. Including our four yr old son. He even got to jump the waves. Boy oh boy that was unforgetable... People's expressions were more than enough to make this all worth while. The couch was absolutely cozy...I know that anyone who layed down for a minute...fell asleep fast. The master bed was like floating on a cloud. No kinked necks or sore backs. Thanks for your hospitality.

What a beautiful home away from home! We all had a great time! It was nice having the formation book - we took the Coaster down to San Diego and back - what fun! It's such a great location; you can walk to a lot of places. Also the Farmer's Market on Thursday was great - lots of fun things! Incredible memories for all of us - took pictures on the beach (our version of Eileen Fisher's ad). I couldn't ask for a better time celebrating a birthday and recharging! The perfect vacation home! It exceeded our expectations in every aspect - and most of us travel extensively. It was immaculate, well laid out, and wonderfully decorated. The owners were very gracious and easy to work with. We arrived in time to visit the Oceanside Sunset Market on Thursday- just a couple of blocks down the street. The train station was a few blocks away for an easy ride into San Diego. The beach and pier are close by, as well. Can't wait to bring our families back!

The sun was descending as we journeyed out for a wonderful dinner at Vigilucci's. It was a delicious meal (veal, calamari, risotto, pasta, etc.)made even more delightful by the constant laughter and stories we shared. And just as the last golden rays of the western sun said good-bye to the twilight dusk, so too, we felt all of our cares and concerns melt off of our shoulders and disappear over the horizen and into the sunset. Everyday we stayed here in your island-themed retreat brought new adventures. Biking on "The Strand," body surfing, boogie boarding, sand castle building, pier walking, star-gazing, BBQ'ing, fire-pitting...WONDERFUL!!! And so I don't overlook the obvious...your home-away-from-home is amazing!! Five Stars+!!! The decor, the accents, the accommodations...WOW!!! We spent the mornings sipping coffee & tea on the front patio watching the hummingbirds & butterflies frolic around the fountain as the sun rose. Breakfast founnd us either on the top (lido :)) deck...or out on the pier with our home-made breakfast burritos wrapped in foil...yummy! Sunsets found us flying kites, surfing waves, and watching dolphins dance along the crescent shapped crests of the waves. Fire pits at the pier and also along the harbor were great, but we thoroughly enjoyed the top deck fire pit for a cozy ending to some wonderful days. We spent a day driving down to Del Mar, and then meandered along the coast. The Charthouse and the Beach House restaurants are right on the water. Another day we rode bikes over to the harbor and walked out on the jetty. Starfish (multi-colored) were plentiful and the sea breeze refreshing. Your home was just what the doctor ordered...to remove stress and recharge the batteries. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! May Jesus Christ continue to bless your family and your home!

This spacious home was an ideal choice for a family vacation. The home was well furnished and well-maintained. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with everything you might need to prepare meals for a large group. Its close proximity to the ocean was certainly an added attraction for us. We would certainly stay at this home again and would recommend it to any of our friends or family who were vacationing in the area.
