The home is luxuriously appointed, with four bedrooms, a den and three full baths.......and is definitely not your "typical" rental!
The gourmet-standard kitchen features top-of-the-line Viking and Sub Zero appliances and stainless steel counter tops. The cabinets will be stocked with some basic spices and basic staples for your use. The master suite features a hot tub and private patio. There is a steam shower in the master bath and all bathrooms will be stocked with basic tolietries. The living room includes a large flat screen television, DVD and stereo, along with a gas fireplace and beautiful leather furniture.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Our first visit to Telluride convinced us this was the place for a second home. We started looking at Ranch land and developments in the outskirts of town. Our realtor wanted to show us a unique property in town that was well built and impeccably designed and decorated. We knew immediately it was a perfect way to expereince life in a new town and make a home for our family. The location is incredible! We are located on a private, residential street....mostly foot traffic! Being a block from the Gondola, we have quick and easy access to the mountain and The Mountain Village. The river trail is outside the back door and the views of the river and mountian are completely unobstructed. We sit on the deck and enjoy the views and quiet surroundings. Life is easy as we live just a short walk from Main street (3 blocks).....restaurants and shops, grocery store and medical clinic.....yet the privacy is unparalleled in town!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is not your "typical "rental as we have decorated it as our home. I love wonderful antiques, comfortable furniture and great beds and bedding..... and want our guests stay to be "first class". The house is well equipped for your stay.... many special ammentities in the kitchen and bathrooms so you will be very comfortable.
Our desire is that Telluride feels like home!

I must agree with all the previous comments. My family had the pleasure of staying at 460 Depot in Telluride for the New Year holiday this year and our accommodations in this home couldn't have been better! We have older children who along with enjoying the closeness of the slopes also loved the location with their evening activities in town! My husband and I so enjoyed the river trail right out the back door. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners during our stay which made our visit even more delightful. On return to Telluride, I would most definitely enjoy staying at this home again.

My family just returned from a 10-day vacation at 460 Depot. We found it to be the nicest place we have seen, or stayed at over the past 5 Summers we have visited Telluride. As others have mentioned, the location is perfect. We have 2 young children who attented the Art Camp which located just steps away, and an 8 year old that attended Telluride Academy (Day-Camp) which is just a few blocks away. When we first walked into the home we were surprised by the size and the attention to detail. The kitchen, family room, bedrooms, and bathrooms are all large. The furnishings and art are all 5 Star, and the kitchen appliances are all top of the line. We took advantage of the grill and hot tub on several occasions, and the full-size washer and dryer were in constant use. Lastly, the owners are great to work with. They are engaged and want to make sure that you enjoy yourself to the fullest.

My wife and I have made numerous trips to Telluride and stayed at 460 Depot on several occasions. It provides the perfect location both for winter ski trips and summer festivals. The gondola is a short 2 block walk and the restaurants on Colorado Avenue are five minutes on foot. The home is decorated in true southwestern Colorado style. The house is deceptively large and provides ample space for families or groups. And the well-appointed kitchen makes cooking fun and easy (despite the temptation to eat out!). Also, the outdoor hot tub is an added bonus to relax those sore legs after skiing. The amenities make it feel like home - satellite tv, WiFi internet, washer/dryer, outdoor grill, fully-appointed kitchen. The ideal location for relaxing week away...

Our family has spent two outstanding Christmas holidays at this really beautiful home in Telluride. The home is perfectly located just 2 blocks from the Gondola and a short walk to all of the fantastic restaurants and shops in town. The home is ideal for a family vacation, with a very well-stocked kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, comfortable beds and attractive furnishings. The house backs to the river trail, which is a wonderful plus and provides a very peaceful setting.
