It is close enough to Atlanta to do a day trip to the zoo, museums,and especially to enjoy our "world famous" Georgia Aquarium.
This is also a great area for Civil War buffs. You are close enough to the Blue Ridge Mountains to enjoy the hiking, biking, rafting, falls, horseback riding, and local festivals. Now is the perfect time for a Fall Color Tour.
This spot would be perfect for a first or second honeymoon or a quiet retreat. The club house has a restaurant and bar that is open Wednesday through Sunday with a variety of activities. Sunday Brunch is wonderful! You can cook if you want.. or eat in some of the finest restaurants in Atlanta or local ones. Take in a live stage play at our refurbished Downtown "playhouse".
