Come relax and enjoy Benzie County and the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. This unique property includes a 2 bedroom, 2 bath main cottage, a 1 bedroom, 1 bath guest cottage and a 1912 log cabin storage cottage, with access to Big Platte Lake.

Situated between Little and Big Platte Lakes, just down the road from The Trading Post and two miles from Lake Michigan. Kayak on Big Platte through the Platte River, upstream to Honor or downstream all the way to Lake Michigan. Fish the waters of Big Platte on the 12 foot aluminum fishing boat. Drive or bike to a very private state park beach across from Deadstream and M22. Take a drive up to the dunes and enjoy lunch and shopping in Glen Arbor.

Start your morning off right with homemade jam and bread at Money's in Honor. Test your golf skills at area golf courses. Watch the hang gliders or fishing boats coming back to port in Frankfort. Plan to have dinner there at some very good restaurants. Drive M22 for ultimate photo opportunities. Last but not least, take the time to appreciate Point Betsie. Life does not get any simpler in this part of the world!

  • We loved our time at the cottages. The lake was so warm and fun for the four kids. The cottages had everything you might need for feeling at home. We truly appreciated the space to spread out and the games to play. We will return. :)
