Location: Kailua, East Oahu, Oahu, Hawaii, USA (20 minutes from airport)
Accommodations: House, 3 Bedrooms + Sleeping Porch, 2 Baths (Sleeps 2-6)
Keywords: House
The Hula House is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. It is an Older (not perfect) Hawaiian Style home that we all love here. It now has a beautiful new kitchen with granite counter tops and new flooring. The house is very open and airy, has wood laminate floors and a large beautiful fenced back yard. Take the Red Wagon with all the beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, and go have a good time at the Beach.
Hula House is 5-10 minutes walking distance, a block and a half to the most beautiful beach in the world, Kailua Beach and 10 minutes drive down the road to Lanikai Beach. Over the hill to Kaneohe. Five minutes to the Marine Base. Maybe a 20 minute walk to Kailua town and 5 minute drive.
Kailua is a quaint town that is easy to walk around to all the cute shops, go bowling, rent bikes and kayaks, surfboards, hang gliders, windsurf and much more. Yes we do have FREE cable high speed internet and FREE long distance phone calls.
Thursday mornings the farmers Open market is behind the Fire station on Kainalu Dr.from 9-10AM only one hour, and Thursday evening Open market in back of Longs Drugs in the parking lot. Starts at 5PM-7PM They have fresh fruit and vegtables and Fried Green tomatoes and fried Zuccini. Yum. All kinds of good food to eat in fact just go have dinner there and see all the Kailua people interacting. We even have a jazz guitarist that plays there and a flutest. Make sure you go to Buzz's for lunch or dinner, it is a fun place have a Freshie, also Lucy's, Assagio's good Italian, Cinnamon's or Kimo's for a good breakfast. California pizza is good, and Mui Kai for Chinese food, Fat Boys for local food. Many more and some new ones.
We are looking for people that will have a great time and also respect the neighbors and the neighborhood. We can't have people that want to party all night long. Sorry. We have to have quiet time around 10PM. That is the law here. This is a great neighborhood.
Other than that have all the fun in our wonderful Kailua that we all love and cherish. Enjoy the simple things not the fast paced style of the mainland. Slow down to a snails pace and relax. You will feel great, Happy and relaxed when you leave our tiny town.
Aloha to all.
