See more photos on our website. The Volcano Chalet sits on a secluded and lush half acre. The master has a king bed and the other two rooms have queen beds. There is a comfortable queen sofa couch and a full bed in the living room. The 700 sf loft upstairs(pull down attic stairs) is great for kids to sleep on 2 Futons.The half bath is upstairs. The living room has a large fireplace and a separate gas heater for those cold Volcano nights. The house is warm and user friendly.
Volcano Chalet is close to Volcano's National Park, which is the Big Island's major attraction. It is recommended to stay in Volcano a couple of nights to enjoy the lava in the dark and be able to do all the things Volcano and the East side of Hawaii have to offer.
The cancellation policy:30 days prior to arrival: 15% cancellation fee charged. 15-29 days prior: 50% refund. 7-14 days: 25% refund. 7-14 days forfeits deposit.

Why the Owner Chose Volcano
There is an energy in the area of the volcano. The whole island feels good but Volcano is different, or stronger. I just know it feels so good to be in the area. The plants, birds and air are all different there. The vog tends to raise above the house and blow over it. If the vog is ever at the house or in the volcano area, it's quite thick. You have to stay indoors. But that is part of the adventure. It's a live island and if your lucky, you can live here.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Healing energy and back to nature. But it's nature like you've never seen before. The smell of the vegetation is awesome. It's cool at night for some good cuddling and a fire place for romance.
