Machynlleth cabin description

TyPren: is a nicer than average holiday chalet belonging to The Scutts. It is a cedar chalet situated close to the seaside town of Aberdovey. It is 2 miles from Aberdovey. It is homely and comfortable, fully furnished with wood table, four chairs, a settee, lounge chair, TV, a small double bedroom and another bedroom with two single beds, a small kitchenette, cooker, fridge freezer. There is a modern shower room and separate toilet The chalet has its own private garden and outside seating areas. The reviews shown are from another of our chalets that our daughter has now claimed as her own, We would like to think that this chalet which is on the Dyfi Estuary is still in Snowdonia will please our guests in the same way. We have always enjoyed good reviews. The price includes a supply of fresh bed linen, the beds are made up for your arrival, fresh towels and the electricity is inclusive. It is a quiet and selective area of the park with beautiful views

It is overlooking the Dyfi Estuary, WITHIN SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK, close to the beaches of Borth and Aberdovey. It set in a beautiful tranquil location on the side of a mountain overlooking the Dovey estuary that cannot fail to impress. The local pub in Pennal which has an excellent restaurant. The old market town of Machynlleth is 6 miles away. A truly special rustic retreat for individuals who want to escape into the Welsh countryside.

                      The setting is superb, within Pennal forest surrounded by green mountains, gentle flowing rivers and yet close to the coastal town of Aberdovey. It is great for: Walking, relaxing, mountain biking, golf, or sight-seeing. It is great for families, groups of close friends or individual couples looking to relax and get away from it all. It is within Snowdonia National Park. It is an area of outstanding beauty and is a natural haven for flora and fauna. The views to the Dovey Estuary and beyond are spectacular. The location is near the village of Pennal, less than six miles from the historic town of Machynlleth (The ancient capital of Wales) and 10 miles from Aberdovey, a once popular fishing port which now boasts Britain's best 'Outward Bound' centre in the UK. Aberdovey golf course is rated in the top 100 British courses. Within driving distance is: Borth, which is well known for its surfing beaches: Barmouth a popular seaside holiday centre: Aberystwyth, an ancient University town with a very good Art Centre and Theatre and Dolgellau, an area of geographical splendour. The Center of Alternative Technology, close by is famed for Eco-Friendly ideas, new technology and a must visit. The surrounding area has unrivalled opportunities to hike, climb, mountain bike and wind/kite surf. For the less energetic there is some of the best river fishing in Wales and for those who want to sit and enjoy the area and surrounding views. It is Wales at its best!

                      TyPren is situated 2 miles from the lovely unspoilt seaside resort of Aberdovey. It is situated in 40 acres of wooded hillside

                      It is comfortable welcoming and cosy. Visit and enjoy TyPren which affords magnificent views of the Dovey Estuary and spectacular Cambrian Mountains. It is a great place to get away from it all! It is very quiet and peaceful. This cedar chalet doesn’t have all the mod cons or boast to have been the best, it is simple, clean and comfortable and very welcoming at the end of a good day out. The kitchen facilities are limited, the shower room small has are the bedrooms but it is a great base for exploring Mid Wales. It offers great value for families. You will return if only to enjoy the beautiful sunsets, dazzling views across the estuary or the close proximity to the lovely fishing village of Aberdovey and of course the positioning in Snowdonia National Park.

Aberdyfi itself have an award-winning links golf course, sailing, fishing, and a host of other watersports. This small seaside village nestles on the north side of the Dyfi / Dovey estuary and is a popular destination for visitors from all over the world. The locals quite like it too!

                      Aberdyfi is a thriving little harbour resort set within the Snowdonia National Park, where the river Dyfi meets the blue waters of Cardigan Bay. Aberdyfi has watersports galore - sailing, sailboarding, rowing, canoeing, fishing and boat trips. In the summer, there are yachting regattas, sailboarding competitions, rowing regattas and other watersports events along with family entertainment on its award-winning beaches. Aberdyfi's championship golf course, which welcomes visiting players and is located at the western end of the village, is also one of Aberdyfi's major attractions. Explore, fish, play golf, settle at the seashore or visit the many excellent shops. There is a prestigious Outward-bound Centre which offers many activities, Visit the famous narrow gauge Talyllyn steam train that travels from Twywn to Abergynolwyn, visit Talyllyn Lake with great views of Cader Idris, take a stroll alongside Dolgoch Falls, staying to picnic at the top. Visit Snowdonia, Climb Cader Idris or stroll gentle around the surrounding countryside

If you want company, or to be closer to the sea, Ty Pren, which is close to the local pubs, village shops and nearby towns of Machynlleth and Aberdovey is not too remote. Site seeing, sport activities, the theatres and beaches are all close by. Most importantly the chalet is set in the hillside with views across the natural estuary valley and out to sea. The Scutts holidayed in this area for a years walking and cycling through the park to picnic. TyPren holiday chalet is closer to Aberdovey and a perfect family unit with outstanding views across the Dovey estuary and Cambrian mountain range. Perfect peace!
