Villa Fegari contains two studios, Romance and Nest, and two apartments, Cace and Thea, in a four storey complex in the white washed traditional caldera village of Firostefani.
The comforts of home away from home, the charm of a traditional Santorinian house and the endless beauty of the volcanic landscape create the perfect setting for relaxation and tranquillity. From each private balcony, the magnificent volcano views and awe-inspiring sunsets feel as if they exist only for you.
The studios and apartments can be reserved individually for couples or small groups, or they can be combined to accommodate larger groups in a private two storey house arrangement. The complete villa complex can be reserved to accommodate up to 13 guests in comfort with a minimum stay of six nights.
Villa Fegari is not the typical hotel or apartment experience. Each accommodation is unique in layout and decor. Thea, at the third level, is a unique apartment with distinct style and cosy charm. The bright interiors combine vintage floor tiles, a playfully stylish collection of comfortable vintage furnishings and worldly, eclectic artwork. Here, you will feel truly at home in this warm and romantic atmosphere. The apartment is fully self-sufficient, with two bedrooms with double beds, a large sitting room, a spacious bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The balcony is a special place to enjoy a meal or a cocktail with stunning180 degree views overlooking the volcano and caldera. The sunsets from this perspective will bring new meaning to infinity, as the red colours wash over even the interiors of the house. As night arrives, the lights on Fira’s cliff side sparkle like distant stars cascading into the sea. Thea can be rented for 2 people, 4 people or a small family. The apartment can also be rented together with Nest, on the upper level, to create a private, two storey house for 5-7 guests. Services and Amenities: Thea is a self-catering apartment with a fully equipped kitchen for preparation of meals. Daily maid service and linens are provided. Laundry service is available upon request. 24 hour on call “front desk service”. This review is long overdue. We traveled to Santorini last summer (Aug 2012). I found Villa Fegari online - went through several properties online and could not decide... There were so many to choose from and choices on locations (Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli, Oia)... It was hard to decide. However, this apartment and the pictures always stood out - but what helped us decide was the prompt response, patience for the questions we had and honesty around amenities. We rented the two bedroom property(Thea). The property was lovely - very much like the description. Yannis met us and helped us with our suitcases down the stairs and upto the apartment ...There were a lot of stairs. Our first impression of the apartment - was just like the description and more. Grape Vines, cool shady area to sit and breathtaking views. Yannis gave us an overview of the island and was kind to get us bottled water - advising us to not drink water from the kitchen. Throughout our stay, he was super responsive to our emails, coming in to swap out a fan - and the maintenance was impeccable. The location was central - it was a nice walk away from Fira... We walked to the hustle and bustle - and came back to quiet. The view was spectacular - unobstructed view of the Caldera. We used the terrace with the sitting area every day of the 6 nights we stayed there. We rented a car and explored the rest of the island - from one end (Oia) to the lighthouse. While the food was great, we loved the bakeries and the baked goods (bread, break sticks, pastries). Souvlaki was our child's favorite.There is a Carrefour at Fira. Yannis and his team were great, responsive and helpful. We needed a break - we slowed down, savored the slow pace and was grateful for no electronic distractions.
