One of Kahana Village’s most requested 3 bedroom beach houses, “Ka Lae” or “The Point” in English, is oceanfront on the most north western edge of the property on Kaia Point and just 30 feet to our sandy beach. This enviable location awards “Ka Lae” an unparalleled 280 degree view, you can see north Kaanapali to Kapalua along with the islands of Molokai and Lanai.
The 10’ X 30’ covered lanai is where all the action is, in winter you’ll be amazed at the whale sightings, especially in the morning. In the afternoon, if the trade winds are up, kite surfers and wind surfers setup and take off from our beach. If the surf is up you’ll see board surfers heading out to the reef to catch a wave, fishermen will work the beach and rocks to bring home a fresh catch for dinner, kayaks and outrigger canoes pass by either site seeing or exercising and turtle sightings are quite normal. Enjoy a candle light dinner on the teak lanai table or a breakfast while waiting for the whales to breach. The lanai is slightly elevated which makes it completely private to the occasional passerby.
The kitchen is well equipped with most everything you need to prepare a great meal. A few cookbooks are in the drawer to help prepare local “island style” meals. There is a spice drawer with a few spices but you may need to pick up your favorite. The wet bar has a blender to whip up your favorite blended drinks and a cocktail shaker for the martinis. There is collection of books under the wet bar sink, a few games in the next cabinet and decks of cards in the drawer. The teak box next to the front door has a few beach chairs and boogie boards for your use and the ice chests, in the pantry, will make your trips to other beaches more enjoyable. A stereo system with a CD player is located in the living room with individual speakers and volume controllers in the each room.
“Ka Lae” was completely remodeled in 2003 and major renovations in 2009 make this beach house a perfect place to stay. It is very comfortable, very private and the best equipped at Kahana Village.
Included in the nightly rent we offer unlimited local, national and international phone calls, complimentary plugin and wireless internet, maid service each mid-week, parking, and an invitation to our once a week Mai Tai Party, where you'll enjoy snacks, fun giveaways for both kids and adults, all you can drink Mai Tai's, and Live Hawaiian Music!

A 3 night deposit plus the $25 booking fee is required to confirm a reservation.
Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival except for holiday bookings.
Rates include up to 6 persons. Additional persons are $20/night, maximum of 8.
Minimum stay is 5 nights, except for our Holiday Season which has a 10 night min.
