IL BOSCHETTO – UMBRIA – AMELIA (TERNI)
Located in the heart of green Umbria, in an area rich in nature and tourist attractions with small medieval towns like Foligno, Assisi and Spoleto, Il Boschetto is the ideal place to use for organizing daily trips and in which to spend a quiet and pleasant holiday. The property consists of two attractive houses, built not far from each other in a beautiful private park. The Main House has been accurately renovated in keeping with the original characteristics, from the tiled floors to the ceilings with wooden beams and tiles, to the open stone sitting room and the small passageways with low, narrow stairs. The New House, built respecting the typical characteristics of the environment, is comfortably and tastefully furnished with the many large windows conferring a pleasant sense of light and air. The portico which surrounds half the house offers a shady cool place for passing pleasant summer evenings. The swimming pool in front of the house permits use of the house conveniences. The guest house, situated close to the Main House, has a comfortable double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
PARK: the large park immersed in natural woodland and surrounded by a sunny garden, offers guests cool, breezy areas and other areas in which to sunbathe in peace. The property is partially enclosed by a fence.
SWIMMING POOL: the 12 x 6 m. pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. The depth goes from 1,30 m. to 3,00 m. at the end with the diving board. It is equipped with wooden and resin sun beds and a marble top table with chairs.
INTERIORS: the main house has two floors. On the ground floor there is a large dining room, a well furnished kitchen, a bathroom and a twin bedroom. Antique and characteristic stairs lead to the various levels of the house where we find two of the double bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms. Another wooden and stone staircase leads up to the typical open stone sitting room with a characteristic fireplace and cosy divans. On this level there is the other double bedroom too. The entrance to the new house, built on one level, leads into a large airy living room with comfortable divans, and an ample dining table and a fully equipped kitchen area. A large corridor leads to the sleeping area where there are two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. In the guesthouse there is a double bedroom and bathroom with shower.
