We stayed at this town home over New Years while skiing at Breckenridge. The accommodation itself is lovely, clean, warm and cosy, it is in a good location and is quiet. However, there were 5 of us and I would have to say that this accommodation should not really be marketed for sleeps 4-6. It does sleep 4 comfortably in 2 bedrooms, but the sofa bed in the living room has a huge coffee table in front of it and there is no room to move it anywhere to actually make use of the sofa bed. There is just too much furniture in a small space and therefore we felt very cramped. We also found that it is not really ideal for skiers, unless there are only 3 of you, as the ski rack only holds 3 sets of skis. We had to use the downstairs shower to store our skis, which rendered that shower out of use and meant we were down to one bath/shower between 5. We would have liked to see a more modern TV and wifi.. For us, it was not the ideal accommodation, space being the one reason we would not use this property again, but I would have no problem in recommending it to groups of 4 people or less.
Owner response:We agree that, as a two bedroom unit, this 800 square foot condo is best for four people. However, it does have a sofa bed that sleeps two. When we use this, we move the coffee table, which is large, but not heavy, into the kitchen for the night. Rendering the second shower useless for ski storage is not necessary. We prop the skis on the slate hearth when we have more skis than our porch lock-up accommodates. Our mountain home is beautifully furnished and is located right on the Ten Mile Creek in Frisco. It looks like an expensive ski lodge with its leather sofa and loveseat, its leather-cushioned lodge chairs, and its log-burning, hand crafted stone fireplace. We hope you will love your stay with us as much as we love our time there.
