Greg Grady and I take two weeks each fall to head West from Illinois and travel at least 6,000 miles. Needless to say, we really like getting out of the car. And, we never make reservations. Staying at the Brown's home was like finding an oasis. We loved grilling steaks on the deck and enjoyed one of our own home-cooked meals. The Brown's love Montana and there were plenty of good books scattered around the home for us to savor. The listing description was accurate regarding the location and the photos accurately reflected the appearance. The home was clean and well-maintained. We hiked the Highline and Avalanche trails and enjoyed dinner at the Belton Chalet. We will always make an exception to our reservation rule to stay at your beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it with us, Karol and Aidan.

A wonderful place to stay with all of the amenities of home. Very clean, very comfortable and a great place to call base while you explore the beautiful Glacier National Park. My sister and I would definitely stay here again. Loved coming back each evening and being able to totally relax. Beautiful home inside and out five minutes from the West entrance. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.

My sister and her husband and my husband and myself stayed at the cabin for 3 days. It was perfect for us. We took the upstairs bedroom and bath and my sister and her husband took the downstairs bedroom and bath. The cabin layout was wonderful. It is beautifully decorated. We discussed whether the owners are very talented or if a professional did the cabin decorating. The location of the cabin could not have been more perfect. The cabin is as the photos depict. Except the upstairs deck--it was better than the photos. For in-season visitors we would NOT recommend Eddy's restaurant. Isaak Walton Inn was a wonderful restaurant experience.

After an emergency and cancellation of last year's trip, we were more than excited to return to Brown's Cabin Home, and it is just that a home. Attention to details make this the greatest place to be, and it's so convenient to Glacier Park. Our only regret is that we didn't plan on staying longer. Saw deer in the front yard, but didn't get to see the bear the neighbor told us about--thank goodness! If we're ever in the area again, we'll be sure to reserve your cabin again. The listing doesn't even come close to describing the comfort, cleanliness and thoughtfull small amenities of this cabin.

Location is great. Close to park and a restaurant. Accomodations were great. Very clean and comfortable. Arrived by Amtrak and the owner of the cabin gave us the name of a car rental agency and they had a car at the depot for us when we arrived. Pat S.

Description of property & inside of cabin very accurate, location of place exact on target. The photos in the picture were very accurate to the appearance of all that was there and more.Property very well maintained and clean. Did not need to call the owner for anything but felt after talking to her on the phone & reading reviews prior to applying for the rental, that I felt comfortable if I had to have done it, that things would have been taken care of appropriatley. Glacier National Park only 1mile from park entrance as stated. Very nice to come back to such a well clean and maintained place after a full day in the park. Would recommend this stay to those that like to travel the park, ride bikes, then come back and know that they can have some nice home cooking of there own. My wife's sister and brother in-law from Florida stayed with us 2 days and were in awe over the cabin, the inside, the cleanliness, the location and the beautiful surroundings. Thanks for helping us enjoy our stay in that locality so well.

FABULOUS!!!!!! We absolutely loved our stay in West Glacier. They have thought of everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is stocked with enough dishes and service ware to serve Thanksgiving dinner. Color books and markers for the kids. It is in a great location and the kids loved it too. I hesitated to write a review just because we don't want it to book up! Thanks so much for letting us stay in your fabulous cabin!

I have stayed at many VRBO rentals in the past but this was by far the best place I have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect. It was very clean, well maintained and well stocked in the kitchen and bath. The beds were very comfortable. The place is newer which I am finding makes a big difference as far as a trouble free stay. The location is great, being so close to the Glacier park entrance. The owner was pleasant and easy to work with. I appreciated the fact that I didn't have to leave a damage deposit which makes for one less hassle. Glacier National Park is awesome. You don't want to miss it. I recommend Kruger Heli-cop Tours If you want to see the park by air. I would give this place a 10 thumbs up (if I had that many).

Owner response: Thanks for the 10 thumbs up review! We really pride ourselves in keeping the cabin extremely clean and well-stocked with everything we can think of to make our guests as comfortable as possible. Location, location, location...it is hard to beat our location for convenience into the Park! Guests love being just one minute from the west entrance into Glacier. It is also a huge perk to be within walking distance of the river, cafes, shops...and a fantastic, lip-smacking, creamy, huckleberry icecream cone! Hope you can come again. Glacier is such a magical place, with so much to explore and discover. We are really happy that you chose to stay with us, and that we were able to be a special, positive experience for your wonderful memories of your trip to Glacier Park. Thanks! This was probably the best VRBO.com rental I've stayed at, and there have been several! From the completely stocked kitchen to the wonderfully comfortable beds to the relaxing Jacuzzi tub, everything was as advertised and exceeded all of our expectations. Being only 1 mile from the entrance to the park is a great time saver and allowed us to explore the park in the morning, take a short drive back for lunch and maybe a quick nap before heading back to the park for an afternoon hike. I'm almost hesitant to recommend this cabin. I'm afraid it will become TOO popular and I'll never get back in! THANK YOU!

Owner response: We really do make the extra effort to make your stay as great as possible. Our guests love the fully equipped kitchen, and make great use of it. After a long hike or raft trip, our jacuzzi is a welcome treat, too. Again and again we hear how much guests marvel at our location. Spending only one minute getting from our front door to the West entrance is fantastic. It allows for so much more time to explore and enjoy Glacier, when you are this close. We are so pleased to have offered you a great stay, and to know that you fully enjoyed the cabin. Hope you can come again soon. Thanks! Karol

About the owner: Mark, Karol, and Aidan are the proud owners of Brown's Cabin Home. 'We stand behind our promise that you will absolutely LOVE the cabin!' Our family has had a love affair with Glacier and Northwest Montana, beginning with Karol's job as the Cook at Sperry Chalet in Glacier Park, long ago. Since then, they have enjoyed every aspect of Glacier life, and all that the Park and Flathead Valley offers, culminating with Mark and Karol's wedding in Glacier. Mark works with the US Forest Service. Karol is a Teacher and a Personal Chef. Aidan is the Chief Quality Control S'more Roaster, Wildlife and Scat Expert in Glacier Park, and widely recognized for his expert sledding and snow-shoe skills.
