California Coast - Whitecap Beach House
The "Whitecap Beach House" is located in a wonderful beach community known as "Oxnard Shores". Oxnard Shores is located between The Ventura Harbor and The Channel Islands Harbor, centered between all the beauty of Santa Barbara and all the activities of Los Angeles. Golf courses, boat excursions to the Channel Islands National Park, kayak rentals, scuba diving, museums, surfing, biking, just steps from the sand and beach, this fantastic two level, 1800 square foot beach house is ideal for a vacation retreat.
The "Whitecap Beach House" house provides a beautiful residence for the couple, family, or families to enjoy a memorable California beach vacation. The main floor provides a Great Room with an entertainment center with a TV and fireplace, a full kitchen with island and breakfast bar, family room area, and dining area.
The family room has a double sized fold-out couch and there is also a queen sized fold-out couch in the Great room for additional sleeping. The second floor provides three bedrooms, master bedroom with California King sized bed and french doors opening out onto an ocean/sunset view terrace, and two bedrooms with two twin beds in one and a full sized bed in the other.
The "Whitecap Beach House" gardens provide a series of private outdoor rooms great for California outdoor living activities, fire pit, barbeque, and lawn games. There is an outdoor shower available to rinse off after a day at the beach. Equipment available is; boogie boards, umbrellas, and beach chairs. Also, walk or ride a bike to; the beach, shopping, and or nearby restaurants.

I think your home was "the whole package". I had a list of qualifications in a rental and your home met all of them. We were looking for something close to the beach, big enough, at a decent price, and the look of your home was like icing on the cake.

Thank you Bill. We and our Swedish friends had a great time. The beach weather was great and the house was very comfortable and accommodating. Thank you for setting it up so well, including the fire logs, great patio furniture, BBQ. We hated to leave and would like to have stayed a bit longer. We went to Santa Cruz island and snorkeled, fished, did a day trip to the outlets and Santa Barbara and had a fun and relaxing time. Our friends loved it and so did our son and daughter. We're heading out to the Outer Banks (SC) in 2 weeks. Please send us the information for the winter rates and perhaps we can spend some more time. Talk to you soon. Bob

Hi, Bill! I'm sorry I wasn't able to reply to you immediately. I just got back from Sacramento and we did have fun. I was telling my coworkers about it and we're planning to rent your place again this August. I just didn't have the time to sit down yet and check the place's availability. Hi Bill: This morning while sipping the last of the breakfast coffee, knowing the family would soon start dispersing, we all agreed this was a perfect fit for us. The beach house had everything we needed, yet we all appreciated the simplicity. No one complained about a poor night’s sleep nor were there lines at the bathroom. We all got in the no-shoe habit right away but got the trash sorting routine “just kinda right”. I think that was because there were many of us cleaning and tossing. Weather started out cold and breezy at the beach with late-into-the-day overcast, but each day improved with sunshine by 10:00 AM this morning. We even had a fire outside in the yard on one evening and brought the night to an end with only glowing embers. What a wonderful way to end a day with family. So both Wally and I just wanted to say thank you for putting all your hard work into making the Whitecap Beach House such a wonderful place for our family gathering.
