This cabin is a well equipped, three-story, log cabin across the road from the Rio Grande National Forest in a quiet neighborhood on the west edge of South Fork, Colorado. It is exquisitely decorated. There are three wooden decks on the street side of the cabin for your comfort in viewing the wildlife, mountains, and trees. You may cook and eat on the barbecue grill and picnic table located on the second floor deck. There is a banquet table with ten covered chairs in the dining room, plus four folding chairs. Also furnished is wood in the two wood boxes located next to the two fireplaces (one fireplace is in the first floor bedroom and the other one is in the living room). In the detached garage is a canoe, four rafts for river rafting, and bicycles for your use.
Wolf Creek Ski area is 18 miles away with the most snow and cheap lift tickets. The Rio Grande River is 200 yards from the cabin for fishing and rafting. Creede is 20 miles away and is the home of Creede Repertory Theatre and a miners museum. Alamosa is 50 miles east on US 160 and has a Wal-Mart Super Center.
