Deep Clean Please

Overall the place was fine but it could REALLY use a deep clean. We were a little grossed out to find cobwebs everywhere, old popcorn under the couch, and a dirty kitchen sink. I'd stay here again if it was cleaned better but for this price I'd rather pay a little more and stay at a nicer place.
Owner response:Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about the cleaning issues. We too insist upon the condo being well cleaned at all times, but being a few hours away, we can't double check on the cleaning as often as we’d like. We pride ourselves on being responsive to input from guests and in fact just installed a new range and dishwasher based on feedback from a recent guest. In this case, we have spoken with the people responsible for the cleaning and they apologized and promised to make the extra effort to ensure our condo is spotless. Update on 02/06/12 - We want to assure anyone considering a stay at our condo that we have addressed these issues as well: added a new occasional chair and are recovering the bench cushion in the living area; ordered a new king-size mattress to be installed in the next 2 weeks, purchased new sheets, new towels, new bed pillows. The condo is looking it's best. Enjoy!

The two of us stayed here for 8 nights during the end of Mountain Biking season at Northstar. We had an incredible time! This condo is so cozy and nice to come home to after a long day of riding. The bedrooms are spacious, with comfortable beds, and bathrooms are not lacking anything. Great shower pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a bbq on the deck. Wonderfully efficient heater and even a washer/dryer available. My only gripe is the position of the couch from the TV. In the evenings, we liked to put on an episode of Dexter on DVD, and it isn't the most comfortable to sit on the couch and crank your head to the side to see the TV. But overall, this was a great find. The contact person for this unit (Kayla) is more than helpful and resourceful. We will definitely book here again when we come up next summer.
