Perfect in Portland!

Cindy, We had an amazing time staying at your house in Portland! We lucked out with sunny weather and being in such a child-friendly city was really fun, especially with a very energetic one and a half year old. We cannot say enough about how much we loved the house! It has the best of the old Mid-century modern feel (cork floor - love it!), but your incredible design aesthetic and modern additions made it both cozy, comfortable and just such a welcoming place to be. We would absolutely recommend your house to anyone going to Portland and we will definitely be back:) Thanks again!

We LOVED staying at this home. Our son got married 11/11/11 to his lovely Ausie bride. Our family arrived from CO, TX, and FL to join the celebration. We all met together and laughed, ate, and loved being together there. The green deer provided the perfect back drop for the bride's picture while getting dressed. It could not have been a better place for us to gather and call "home" away from home.

Truly Portland

This house represents Oregon very well, from its eccentric art work to its whimsical kitchen ware. The house is very spacious; the entertainment setup was above others. The children’s toys were the icing on the cake. You got to rent this place for a true feel of Portland.

Owner response:thanks so much anas. hope to have you back next year:) cindy

Stayed at this house for a wedding weekend with parents and aunt and my 1 1/2 year old son. It was perfect. It had everything we needed. We BBQ one night and was able to all relax and spend time together in one family room opposed to a hotel. We all had a great time. The house was very clean and had everything listed. I would recommend this property for families with kids. It had the high chair, pack n play and lots of toys for my son to play with. Thank you Cindy!

Hi Cindy, My husband and I just got back from a trip to Nevada and first chance I've had to write and tell you that we really enjoyed our stay in Raleigh Hills, at your rental house. The house was well supplied; kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, linens, etc. My married children claimed the 2 bedrooms (they said they were very comfy!) and my single, adult son claimed the twin bed....so I had the couch, but it worked out just fine. I spent a couple nights with my sisters in the area so did have a bed now and then. We all loved the attractions and stores in the area and we all want to go back again to see/do more in the Wash/Oregon area. Raleigh Hills was a good location for us and maybe next time we can try your 3 bedroom house that will sleep the 6 adults! Again, thank you for your attention to detail and furnishings. Your home was very lovely! Thank you, Cindy! Sharon

We stayed here with another family and loved it. The kids felt completely at home and loved playing in the yard and taking jacuzzi tubs. We've stayed in several VRBO homes and this one had the nicest and best supplied kitchen. It's very comfortable and clean and all around a great spot - we'd love to come back. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time. The house was fabulous- from the decor to the location. You didn't leave out a detail!!! It was a big part of making our stay in Portland a truly memorable vacation. Portland is such an amazing city!!! You are so lucky. We are already thinking of excuses of how and when we are going to make it back. If we do, we will definitely give you a call. Thanks! The house was so comfortable and inviting. We had such a good time and the house was everything and more. Not only was it close to shops and restaurants, but it was near the bus lines, zoo and bike paths, which we loved. We will certainly recommend this home to our family and friends visiting Portland. Thank you.

The house was fantastic, the pictures don't do it justice. Loved the decor, 50s retro. The location was convenient to the freeway and downtown without being right in the middle of the city, very close to zoo, museums, rose garden. Plenty of parking (2 car garage and driveway). The owner of this property put a lot of time and energy into small touches that really shows she wants people to have a home away from home. If you are a "foodie" there are several gourmet grocery stores nearby and the kitchen has been stocked with all of the equipment you might need and more. If you have little ones, the property is very child friendly, there is a high chair, pack and play, cups/plates/untensils for toddlers, and even some bath toys. The back yard is fenced in which is great for kids too. Enjoyed using the stereo system, satellite TV, and DVR (Tivo) service. We will be back for our next Portland visit!

Never been to Portland before but wanted to see what the fuss was all about. Now I understand! The house we stayed in was perfect. Very comfortable and warm and very nicely decorated. Couldn't have been happier. Would definitely recommend staying here.

this house was so fantastic. the interior is gorgeous, the kitchen was very "cook friendly" and the neighborhood "ideal". we were welcomed by the owner, given a tour and then left alone. however, i did have to call her once to figure out how to start the fireplace. there was a very helpful "portland guide" that was full of things to do, great restaurants to try (we did:), and bus maps, and zoo/winery information. we had such a great time & will definately stay there again. thank you cindy.

Owner response:thank you. hope you come again next year.
