Plumeria House is a recently renovated traditional Hawaiian style plantation home found in Tropical Waters, a vacation rental retreat featuring three homes in a gated community on Oahu's North Shore. This house has a beautiful garden view along with your own private beach access.
Tropical Waters is on Ke Iki Beach, which is between world famous Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay. Every evening, enjoy the most breathtaking and stunning sunsets. Have fun snorkeling, exploring tide pools at Shark’s Cove, surfing, windsurfing, sunbathing and whale watching right outside your door. Secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city, relax in a quiet setting where time slows down yet you’re only an hour away from the action in Waikiki and 45 minutes from the Honolulu International Airport.
Plumeria House offers a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms and two full baths. Interior decorated with the elegance of Hawaiiana, all homes have teak furnishings, banana leaf woven chairs and plantation style ceiling fans.
And when you need a break in the day, you’ll be pleased by how convenient our centralized location is. Only three minutes away, stop in at Foodland market for groceries and island delicacies such as sushi, mangoes and papayas. Foodland also has all beach essentials along with DVD rentals, daily local newspaper and snacks. Grab a steaming mocha or an icy cold latte from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf next door. If you’re looking to dine out or do some shopping, Haleiwa Town is just five miles away. Land lovers will enjoy the nearby bike path; be able to hike along breathtaking ridges; or take horseback riding tours. The Turtle Bay Resort is 15 minutes away offering two golf courses and fine dining. Further down in Laie is the Polynesian Cultural Center where you can experience an authentic Hawaiian luau (feast). Whatever your interests are, Tropical Waters offers fun for the whole family!

This is the garden house in a compound with 3 properties. The other 2 properties are directly on the beach, this house enjoys the garden view. Property was well furnished and very complete with, for example, beach towels, snorkling gear, beach chairs, beach toys for the kids, gas-grill, bicycles - perfect! Location was excellent - walking/cycling distance from perfect beaches and snorkling places, Foodland supermarket is 5 minute bikeride, and Waimea offers many restaurants at just 15 minutes distance. Also enjoyed the horseback riding at Turtlebay. Unlike most houses on the Northshore, this house is set back a bit further from the main road, which keeps traffic noise to a minimum. Overall highly recommended - we would stay again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Aloha, S. Mahalo for taking the time to share your perspective on your stay. It was great to meet you and your family and we hope you'll come back and stay with us again. A hui hou!

I recommend this home. There were 6 of us in our party and plenty of room for all. Clean and very close to beach. Kitchen was well stocked with untensils, as well as extras (sandwich bags/tupperware containers). Shampoo and body wash provided! We used 3 of the bikes everyday. Beach chairs/beach toys/snorkel gear/body boards all supplied. Walking distance to Shark Cove/Foodland & Waimea Bay if you like to walk. Close drive to Hale'iwa. North Shore is quiet so it may not appeal to all. It wasn't easy for us to leave & hopefully we will return!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Aloha, M. Thanks, so much for your positive and detailed review! We always appreciate first-hand accounts of how and why our house is a great place to stay. Hope to see you back again soon. A hui hou!

This place was great. The location was perfect. A short bike ride to Foodland, which we frequented. Steps away from the beach. It was really hard saying good-bye. They provide 6 beach cruiser bikes which were so much fun! Right next to Shark's Cove where you can snorkel, it was gorgeous. Close to ALL the beautiful beaches. 10 minute drive to Turtle Bay Resort. 5 minute drive the Waimea Falls. Location couldn't have been better. Will definitely go back here!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
