Location: Murphy, Smoky Mountains, North Carolina, USA (Murphy)
Accommodations: Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + No additional sleeping rooms avail, 2 Baths (Sleeps 3-4)
Keywords: Log Cabin
This two bedroom, two bath, hand hewn log cabin is suspended in the air over a large rushing creek. Located 15 miles from Murphy, the cabin offers the best in quiet luxurious living. From the plush bedding to the jetted tub to the Hot Springs hot tub on the lower deck, you may not want to ever leave.
A large stacked rock fireplace creates a warm environment during cooler weather. The upstairs deck is perfect for morning coffee and evening wine. The cabin overlooks Beaverdam Creek, long known to locals as one of the best areas to flyfish for Rainbows. There are steps to the creek that makes it easy to enjoy swimming and fishing.
The cabin is in Vineyard Creek, a small private log cabin development that includes an actual working vineyard, a common area on Beaverdam Creek, and a stocked pond that's fun to cane pole fish. There's no golf course, no tennis courts, or a lot of other people. There are wild turkeys, hummingbirds, and an occasional shy deer. Boating on Lake Hiawassee is a beautiful way to view the surrounding mountains. Shook's marina, five miles from the cabin, offers boat rentals. Grocery stores are 30 minutes away, so plan accordingly.

I don't even have the words to say about this cabin! It's AMAZING! The pictures on-line don't do it justice at all! My husband and I had an amazing time... really wishing we were staying longer. We cannot wait to come back longer than a weekend. The directions to get here were perfect! It's way off the beaten path and we LOVED it! The view is breath-taking... Seriously, we CANNOT wait to come back!
Owner response:We are very happy to read that the cabin and its location were so well received. We too think that it is a great get-away place. It's in woods, on a creek and very comfortable. A real cabin experience. Thanks

This is a very nice location for total privacy. The cabin was very nice. Beautiful back porch with view of creek. Accomadations were comfortable and spacious. We stayed for two nights and never got in the car until time to come home. Please stop by the grocery store if you plan to do this because the town is about a 30 minute drive. Great value for a long weekend.
