This nicely furnished (960 Sq. Ft.) Golden Peak/Vail Village condo was updated in 2009 and is considered mountain contemporary décor. This is the perfect vacation rental for a couple, a couple with children or 2 couples traveling together. We are located just 3 minutes from the Golden Peak ski lift (chair 6 to the back bowls) and the heart of Vail Village. The unit is on uppermost floor of 2-story building with all vaulted ceilings.
The living room faces the slopes of Vail Mountain providing and outstanding view. The sound of Gore Creek can be heard and seen from the bedrooms. The master bedroom (located on the main floor) has a queen bed and 3/4 bath and the 2nd bedroom has two extra long twin beds with a large Flat Screen TV and DVD player and shares the full common bathroom. The loft is a nice getaway area with a large skylight and flat screen TV and brand new queen sofa sleeper..
It is a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances including coffee maker, microwave oven, blender, toaster, new glass-top range/oven and Sub Zero Fridge…and everything you would need to cook a gourmet meal including basic spices and condiments.
There is one dedicated parking space just outside the front door but you won't need your car because you can walk everywhere! Wireless internet access, 60' T.V. and a decent DVD collection will keep you entertained when you are not out enjoying the mountains. There is a washer/dryer in the unit as well as another set in the building.
Bring your iPod, laptop or MP3 Player and plug them in to listen to your own music. We are only a few minutes walk to the Vail Athletic Club for those who want to catch a Yoga or Pilates class.
We offer discounts for ski rentals and can assist with ground transportation, car rentals, lift tickets, grocery delivery services or cribs for the little one’s. This location can't be beat and you will have plenty of room to spread out after a day on the slopes! Past guests have loved staying in our home and so will you!

Had 2 good weeks over the Christmas Holidays
I stayed with my family in the condo ( 3 children age 11,10 and 4) , for 2 weeks over the Christmas Holidays. The condo has a superb location 2 minutes from everywhere in Vail Village, we skied everyday! We went to Restaurants and après Ski activities without using the car, walking everywhere.

Great Condo, Great Location
The best thing about this condo is the location - roughly two blocks to the Golden Peak base (and the Riva Bahn lift) and just two blocks from Bridge Street. All of this, with parking right outside the front door. It has the benefit of being in a quiet area - very little traffic nearby - yet with amazing access to the village and mountain. The condo itself is great - beautiful views of the mountain out the front and Gore Creek to the rear. As for amenities, it has everything we could have wanted - great kitchen, comfortable roomy sitting area, several large flat-panel TVs, and good bathrooms/showers. Highly recommend!

The condo backs to Gore Creek, so in the summer we open the windows and hear the rush of water. In the winter the river and the huge trees along the banks act as a buffer to buildings on the other side. We love the space. Its cozy and romantic. The high ceilings make it extra spacious. Location, location, location. short 3 minute walk to center of Vail Village (Gorsuch, Golden Bear and Peppi's) as well as to ski lifts at Golden Peak (chair 6, Riva Bahn to back bowls).
