Situated in the green and sunny Umbrian countryside, not far from Lake Trasimeno and the splendid little towns of the Siena hinterland, Casale Alice consists of two buildings. The two storey main house is built entirely in stone, while just 20 metres away is an annex. The house has been furnished with exquisite taste and is the ideal place for spending a romantic and relaxing holiday without renouncing any creature comforts. The numerous porticoes allow al fresco dining in a fresh and natural environment. The vicinity to numerous historical centres such as Montepulciano, Perugia, Siena and Pienza make Casale Alice particularly suitable as a departure point for daily excursions.

PARK: The farmhouse is entirely surrounded by a garden with lawns and flowerbeds of about 10.000 square metres.

SWIMMING POOL: Open from April 28 to October 6, the pool measures 6 x 12 metres, with the depth varying from 1.20 to 2.40 metres. It is located about 20 metres from the house and is fully equipped with two gazebos, deckchairs, tables and chairs and an outdoor shower at the poolside.

INTERIOR: The main house has two storeys. On the ground floor is a large, fully equipped kitchen with fireplace, storeroom and service bathroom and four double bedrooms, one of which is suitable for disabled people, each having an en suite bathroom. Two bathrooms have a shower whilst one also has a tub. Some of the rooms on the ground floor communicate with each other. A large external stone staircase leads to the first floor with three double bedrooms each having en suite bathrooms with shower. One of these bedrooms has the double bed located on a splendid platform. One of the ground floor bedrooms and one of the first floor ones have a splendid imperial style tub. All the bedrooms have independent entrances.

Annex: Just 20 metres away is the annex where there are a kitchen area, a dining area, living room, small reception, laundry and bathroom. The annex will be available for the 2007 season.

SERVICES INCLUDED: Water, gas for cooking use, initial cleaning, weekly linen change, house cleaning at beginning of stay, three hours cleaning per day, pool and park maintenance.

COMPULSORY SERVICES NOT INCLUDED (supplied and to be paid locally to the owner): Electricity (€0,35/kwh), final cleaning (€12/person with a minimum of €100), extra cleaning when pets present (€30/week per pet).

SERVICES ON REQUEST (supplied and payable on site to the owner): Extra cleaning (€15/hour), extra linen (€12/person), heating (€4,32/litro-mc), telephone and internet connection, wood (€20/100kg), cook.
