Keywords: Single Storey House
In Gaelic our house is called Rhadarc Na Mara, which means Ocean View; It's named after the spectacular location looking out over the Atlantic ocean. The views of the ocean, Cliffs of Moher and down on the traditional Irish music village of Doolin make this a visual feast.
Radnarc Na Mara is beautifully situated on a quiet country road on the edge of the Burren between Doolin village and the Ballinalacken Castle. Turn left outside the front gate, and it is just a short walk to Ballinalackan Castle gorge, breathtaking views of the Aran Islands and the Burren, with its wildflowers, trickling streams, subterranean rivers and boulders bulging out of the landscape. Just around the corner from the house is the largest Stalactite in the Northern Hemisphere (now open to the public and a must see). Children and adults alike can enjoy the delights of the surrounding countryside, cows, horses and donkeys, who will gladly accept a carrot or two as you pass by.
Less than five-minute drive to Doolin village and a five-minute drive to Lisdoonvarna.
From the bright airy sun-lit living room, sun room and kitchen, you can sit back and enjoy a spectacular uninterrupted 180-degree view of the Atlantic ocean, the Cliffs of Moher, edge of the Burren and beautiful countryside. Like many of our guests, you will spend hours gazing at the constantly changing sea and cliffs and, when the sun goes down, the stars that seem so much brighter. It will take your breath away!
Rhadarc Na Mara is a deceptively spacious newly built house with all the charm of a pine-fitted Irish country home, featuring delightful features as a barn half door leading from the kitchen out to the garden deck, an open fireplace in the living room and a spacious sun room that you'll want to sit in all day long. You can enjoy a relaxing family meal in the diner kitchen whilst enjoying the beautiful views through the glass sliding doors leading out to the deck and large garden.

This is our second time for this great vacation home. Quite spectacular veiws, very quiet, out of the way from the hustle and bustle, but a great place to temporarily take up residence and explore Ireland. The Aran Isles, Galway and the Cliffs of Moher are short distances away. A great place to stay for your exploration of the greatest place on earth. We will absolutely stay here the next time we come...we love this home away from home. Don't miss the sessions at O'Conners Pub and the great times @ McGanns. You will love the views and the sunsets.

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at Radharc na Mara. The cottage was brilliant and had everything that we needed. Great location for everything that we wanted to do and see; Doolin, the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara. A short drive (1 hour) is Moran's Oyster Cottage - I highly recommend this. The oysters were amazing and the staff was delightful. Lorraine was a blessing, had to postpone our trip by one month. She worked with us and everything came out unhitched. We rented a car in Shannon and had no problems finding everywhere that we wanted to go. Make sure and rent a GPS, they are amazing. We were able to see alot of country without the fear of getting turned around. This was all in all one of the best trips I have been on to date. Thank you for everything Lorraine.

More beautiful than we ever hoped for! The house sits up on a hill and the view of the sea and cliffs from our backyard was magnificent. The house was so clean and had so many windows, felt so restful and bright. It was an easy bike ride down to the town of Doolin where we'd stay at the pubs all night, and just a short drive to the Cliffs or Aran Islands. Doolin had a few shops for trinkets and fudge and basic groceries, and Ennistimon was about 20 minutes away where they had hardware stores and a giant grocery store. We had a 10-day trip to Ireland and stayed here every night except the last, it couldn't have been a more perfect place for our dream vacation.

We spent almost two weeks in Ireland, staying at Radharc last. It was certainly one of our most enjoyable stays! The house was wonderful and had everything you might need. The location was fantastic! Very close to Doolin and Lisdoonvarna. Very close to the Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch. Very close to the Burren and the Aran Islands. We enjoyed Doolin a lot and particularly enjoyed Gus O'Connor's pub and the chocolate shop located nearby. We look forward to returning!

We have been regular visitors to the lovely house of Radharc na Mara since 2007. Each year we have brought new friends and family members, and all have been delighted by the beautiful location, the many activities and places of interest within a short drive, and the well appointed and comfortable house itself. It is wonderful to sit in the bright and pleasant sitting room, and to gaze across at the sea, sparkling in the distance, and to the dramatic cliffs of Moher. There are also many delightful walks, and the lively towns of Doolin and Lisdoonvana are also close at hand. We would recommend it for anyone who loves unspoilt countryside, and wants to explore this unique corner of Ireland.

This is one of the nicest holiday properties I've ever stayed in! It had beautiful oceans views, great walks and stunning scenery. The house itself was immaculate, well equipped and in great condition. Everything we needed was there! Loraine (the manager) was very friendly and helpful. She answered all our questions before we left and it gave us a great sense of security. Highly recommend this great house and fabulous area. Just magical!
