Chateau Chataignier Estate is a unique, intimate, cosmopolitan oasis, filled with designer furniture and set within a beautiful environment. The estate is the perfect place for family reunions and other large group gatherings. It is an intimate location in the midst of calm surroundings. The estate is designed to accommodate groups of up to 30.
The chateau is surrounded by a fairy-tale landscape, where woods, mountains and lakes combine perfectly. Situated in the protected nature reserve, Parc Naturel du Morvan, La Chataignier has more than its fair share of nearby wineries. The estate is located 95 km from Dijon, with the nearest city being Autun.
There are two principal buildings on the estate - the Chateau (600m2) and the Maison (250m2), as well as a self contained apartment, accommodating up to 30 guests.
Everyone will find their own space at Chateau Chataigier as there are several lounge areas that emphasise the intimate atmosphere, both indoors and out. On the ground floor of the Chateau, for example, seven comfortable sofas await you. Both the Chateau and the Maison have French doors leading to the garden and the terrace, with deluxe hammocks, sun loungers, tables and chairs.
Ground floor: Entrance hall, spacious sitting room, dining room with wood stove, fully equipped kitchen, pantry, utility room, hallway and 2 WCs.
First floor: 2 showers, 2 WCs, 4 bedrooms.
2nd floor: 1 shower room, 1 bathroom, 1 WC and 4 bedrooms.
Facilities: The house is oil-heated, bed linen, Nespresso coffee maker, dishwasher, oven, 6-ring cooker, iPod holder, Wifi, swimming pool (8x4) and 32m terrace.
