Our family had a wonderful ski vacation. Not only was the condo a beautiful home and very comfortable, it really felt like visiting someone's home. Beautiful furnishings, decor and so close to the ski area. The view of the ski area is breathtaking from most every window. We appreciated the close attention to the details that welcomed us into their home. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and it was nice to be welcomed by wine and cold beer in the fridge. The extra living room area was great for the kids to play and watch their tv shows.Thanks again for a wonderful stay and great communication before and after the stay! We would definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Great place for a large group. There is enough privacy for everyone, and the main level accommodated all of us comfortably for games, meals, chatting, etc.

Wonderful Winter Park!

Our group has been getting together for several years now, we have visited Breckenridge, J-Hole, and Steamboat. Steamboat had been the resort of choice thanks to the powder skiing and nice night life. This year several of the "bosses" requested a change of scenery and we all decided on Winter Park. Our decision could not have been more perfect! We were greeted every morning to a bright, picture perfect Colorado sunrise overlooking the resort! Our accomodations were top notch, the Owner's do a great job providing the travelers with everything that they need to have a worry free, fun filled vacation! Being within a short walk of the main lift ensures that every morning the skiers are ready to roll; for those late risers the indoor parking pass is so convenient! The quaint downtown allowed the girls to have several spa days with massages and nice nails for all! Between Mary Jane, Winter Park, and Vasquez Ridge the guys had almost more skiing than they could handle. Almost being the key word! This was such a great trip and we will be returning customers for sure! Thanks!

The description of the property is right on! This place is absolutely wonderful and Maggie and her team take care of you from the moment you send her your first request for information and availability. The parking pass was extremely useful! This made getting to the mountain with kids and equipment in tow, easier and less dramatic. I would suggest this place for multiple families vacationing together due to the two living areas and many bedrooms. What a great place! The kids were even able to enjoy playing in the snow right by the hot tub. A great location with a great view and many, many amenities!! Thank you, Maggie!!!

Beautiful place & Furnishings (not a typical, commercial rental....) Separate kids basement with own living room. Parking pass allows you into covered garage each day; weekends take the shuttle. Literally right across Hwy 40 from WP base area, great view from property. Tremendous value + owners that take care of their renters!!!

Perfection in Winter Park!

Wow! What an amazing ski weekend at this exclusive property. The owners have thought of everything to make their guests feel at home while enjoying luxury. The western lodge decorations are perfect for this mountain retreat. The home has ample space for multiple families and the lower level was a nice place for the kids to have their own area, which allowed the adults to relax by the fire on the main floor while watching the snowfall over the ski area. This home was very clean and in immaculate condition. The heated floors are a warming touch and the large mudroom is a great place to keep all of the gear and get it ready for the next ski day. The large garage is also nice as it fits a full size SUV with ski racks, hard to find in many other properties. The owners had great restaurant and activity suggestions in town; however, the gourmet kitchen and outdoor grill kept us at the home to enjoy cooking on our own. Getting to the base of the ski area was easy and the included covered parking pass was nice and convenient, especially when getting ready in a snow storm. The apres ski in the base village had numerous options before getting back to the house to relax in the hot tub while watching the snow fall on the mountain for the next day. We couldn't have asked for better amenities for this amazing home and fabulous weekend. The 20" of fresh snow over 4 days was just the icing on the cake! We will definitely be back.

We've had two amazing visits to WP and Maggie and Steve's lovely condo.I'm not sure which one we loved the most ! It's beautifully decorated,warm and inviting with breathtaking views...plus a great location.We truly didn't want to leave the last time we were there ! WP is wonderful with so much to do and has everything...except a Target or Walmart ! We loved Hernando's restaurant,the food is delicious and it's perfect for families.If you want to splurge then go to Devil's Thumb Ranch for an outstanding meal and beautiful setting.The tubing hill in Fraser was alot of fun for a non-skiing day and there's a new rec.center in WP which you can use on a daily basis to workout or swim. Maggie was so helpful in everyway possible,...she streamlines everything,providing activity and restaurant info and is so organized,kind and helpful.A delight to work with ! She even got us a highchair and extra pack n' play for our grandchildren. This is a 5 star +++ rental and we all really loved it !!

We had a Fabulous time at Maggie and Steve's lovely vacation home! We stayed with our best friends which made a total of 4 adults and 4 kids and we all loved it and it felt like home away from home! There was more than enough room to spread out, the kitchen was stocked just begging to be used, the hot tub was hot, clean and ready to go. We met Maggie and she was as sweet as can be, very much the hostess, asking if there was anything else we needed - of course, she had already thought of everything! We have rented many houses in the US and Caribbean and this was by far, the most well planned for family! It made our vacation with our friends that much sweeter! You'd be doing your family a favor to take Maggie and Steve up on their hospitality!!!

We stayed in this property for 5 nights with 4 adults and 4 children. We had a great time and it was everything we had hoped for. The accommodations were beautiful and perfect for our group. The "kids" den downstairs was great for the kids to have fun while we relaxed upstairs. The covered parking in the garage at the ski area was a great convenience. The drive from the unit to the ski area parking garage was less than 5 minutes and the walk from the parking garage to the lifts, ski rentals, lessons was about 5 minutes also. The grill was handy even in cold weather and the hot tub was great after a long day skiing. We highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again next time we have the opportunity to visit Winter Park.

We stayed in this beautiful townhome over the New Year's week and had a fabulous time. The home is beautifully decorated and maggie has thought of everything. We shared the home with another family and the 4 kids loved having their own space with the downstairs gameroom. Maggie was extremely helpful in her recommendations on activities while in winter Park. I would recommend this home to anyone and will definitely be back the next time we travel to Winter Park.

This is the second year we have stayed at this wonderful Townhome. What a beautifully decorated and relaxing place to stay. Great view of the slopes and convenient location. This town home was amazing. I stayed here with a group of college friends and had the time of my life. The location is perfect, a very short walk to the lifts and spectacular views. The home was comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was great to be able to wake up and be on the mountain in literally 10 minutes and then to relax after a long day on the slopes in the hot tub. Maggie was great in organizing everything and this made for a fabulous trip. I definitely recommend this home!

One word....UNBELEIVABLE! The home speaks for itself. After dealing with Maggie, it seemed as if we had known each other for years. Phenomenal, is the best word to describe your townhome. My college buddies and I stayed here for an extended weekend this past winter break and had a blast! The townhome is beautifully furnished and is in a perfect location with a magnificent view. We were able to take a short walk (5 to 10 minutes) to the ski lifts each morning and skied on fresh powder everyday. Then, after a full day of skiing, my buddies and I were able to kick back and relax in a really nice hot tub. Maggie did an excellent job helping us get set up and I will most certainly be back!

We stayed in this townhouse Christmas 2008. We’d been to Winter Park twice before. Maggie was wonderful in getting us set up and making our plans. When we inquired if the townhouse had a highchair she said no but immediately offered to get one. Thanks Maggie! The townhouse was spectacular with an equally spectacular view. The location perfect. Maggie was so thoughtful that we even had personalized Christmas stockings for the children on the fireplace when we arrived! We had 8 adults and 3 children and there was always enough room even if you wanted some quiet time. The people in Winter Park were very nice. The skiing was fabulous. We’ll definitely come back.

My family has skied Winter Park for over 30 years. We have stayed in too many condos to even remember but have found our true "ski home" in Steve and Maggie's home in Lakota. The home is beautiful, roomy, and very well equipped. The view is spectacular, looking directly at Winter Park. The location is very convenient to the slopes and now there is even a parking pass. My advice is to be very careful........If you stay here you will be back. We love it. Chuck

Wow! What a beautiful vacation home. We had such a wonderful time and there was so much space for the kids to play. The views were outstanding - we were so close to Winter Park ski resort and very close to town as well - and..., the home kept the "mountainy" vacation home feel which was fabulous. We are back in Mexico City after enjoying an unforgettable vacation in Colorado. Winter Park is beautiful, the house was really nice, comfortable, and very convenient for all our family. We spent a lovely White Christmas, watching the snow falling throw the window of the Living Room and dinning together as we usually do at home. We went to Winter Park in a family trip: grandparents, sons/daughters in law and four kids and each one of us found a place to rest and enjoy our time like at home. The natural area is spectacular, the Ski resort is just in front of the condo and the view from the living room is jut unforgettable. For some of us it was our first experience with the snow, just walking around the house was a morning pleasure for the kids!!!!

In 11 years of traveling with a group of Nebraska ladies, we have never had better accommodations than experienced at your lovely Winter Park home. There were 10 of us this time, 54- to 64-years of age, and the house was just perfect for the four days we spent in Grand County trying out new adventures. Everything from the location with a close-up view of the mountains...to the layout of the home, the upscale but ‘homey’ decorations...to the large hot tub, the facilities and appliances...to all the extra little touches...we loved it! The beds were so comfortable that, although there were alternatives, two of us were just fine even on the top bunks in the lovely lower level. I’m trying to think if there were any drawbacks or negatives...NOPE!

What a great place! We had two families each with two kids and could have even accomodated a third family. The two master bedrooms were spacious and upscale. The closet in the king bedroom was big enough to put an inflatable bed for the toddler to sleep near us. The downstairs game room made a nice place for the kids to hang out so that the parents could enjoy some rest and relaxation. Everything in the condo is high end-from dishes to utensils to bath products! We have stayed at many VRBOs and this is by far the most plush accomodations in this price range.

A group of us stayed here in Feb and had a great time. Basically the owners had thought of everything when setting up this place. In addition to the wonderful place the owners are top notch. Before even going out there they were emailing us information of different activities and trying to make sure we had a great time.

We had a group of friends scattered across the South come to Winter Park for a ski trip. Absolutely great time and great place to crash. The view, proximity to the mountain, and overall value were excellent. We have skied thoughout the Northeast, Taos, Utah... The owner of this condo did a great job decorating the condo and she was incredibly helpful with any concerns that we had. On a side note- the Safeway card supplied in the welcome package may have saved us 200 dollars alone. I'm in the military, so my future location is always up in the air, but I would certainly stay here again. Final benefit- Winter Park had some great snow this January, much better than the majority of the nation.

The accomodations are stunning, from the views and location to the linens, furnishings and tableware everything is first class. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall any season is a great time to visit Winter Park and stay at Lakota. Not into skiing what a great plance to sit on the deck (or in the Great Room) and watch the wildlife and the skiiers come down the mountain. I am checking the calandar to book our next trip. Enjoy! This was my first visit to Winter Park, Colorado and I was thrilled. Flying in to Denver and renting a car was simple. The drive to the townhome was a piece of cake. The area is spectacular... magnificent scenery, quaint little towns and eateries nearby. The townhome is gorgeous. Very spacious and beautifully decorated with a woodsy, cozy feel. The view is amazing! Perfect setting with Winter Park Resort just across the highway. I'm looking forward to returning in the winter. I would definitely book this townhome again. Let it snow, snow, snow!

I recently stayed at this condo, and it is new, beautifully decorated and appointed far better than any other upscale condo that I have rented. The large second family room gives kids a great place to hang out. The view is lovely as well.
