Everything in this condo is wonderful....it is tastefully decorated...lots of beautiful paintings on walls...furniture comfortable...kitchen has everything you need....lots of chairs for beach plus trolley which makes life easier...above all, a beautiful setting facing Tigertail beach...and a wonderful lanai to sit on for relaxing and table and chairs for dining....All in all, highly recommended condo in South Seas...

I spent 10 days on Marco at Joyce's condo and had a great time. Joyce was always available to contact if we had questions, but the stay was so well planned out beforehand all went smoothly. The condo is situated perfectly in the building facing the west and high for distant views and is a nice size for up to four people. We quickly felt at home. The pool is heated, large, and had few people when we were in it. Marco Island itself was all that I had hoped for. The beach is wide and a bit of a walk, but really only about 5 minutes or so. The beach to the north is long with many shells. There is protected water between the condo and the beach that is great for kayaking and bird watching and just viewing from the balcony. When we ate out, it was at a different restaurant each time and I enjoyed them all. If you like the rustic sort, go to nearby Goodland and eat at the Old Marco Lodge Crab House. Naples is less than a half hour away and the beach and Old Naples make for a fun day. All in all we had a wonderful stay, the only problem was time went too quickly!

We had a great time in Marco. The condo was nice & had all that we needed. There was a fab view of the beach with pretty sunsets! My kids were surprised that the pool closed at dusk though! A very safe and secure condo with assorted rules & regulations-keep that in mind! We did not have to worry about our kids & felt OK letting them roam alone. (11 and 16). The beach is HUGE with white sugary sand. Definitely worth the bit of a walk to get there. Joyce/the owner was VERY helpful and the entire process was smooth as she is very organized. We did airboats in Everglades City and it was a blast! Stonecrabs at Grimms Seafood Market down there was alot less $ than in Marco. We took them back to the condo and ate like kings! :) In Marco, Capt. Doug's restaurant was very good, as well as Mango's. We wanted to rent bikes and ride around the island, but never got the chance-perfect place for it!...esp. down at the quieter South end of Marco. This is a great condo and a VERY good value!! The condo and property were well maintained and clean. We had no surprises or complaints. Thanks again Joyce!! :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Joyce's condo on Marco Island. The beautiful gulf views can be enjoyed from the living room, master bedroom, dining area and even the kitchen (which also has a view of the island from the window). She has made sure her condo is fully equipped with all the amenities you need during your stay. The master bedroom has a king bed with a super comfy pillow top mattress. Joyce was very accomodating in making sure our stay would be pleasant. This condo is well located and Marco Island offers many great restaurants. Would recommend this condo to anyone want to visit Marco Island!!!!

Attractively furnished, comfortable beds, 11th floor overlooking pool, and great sunsets from balcony. TV in every room, and free wifi in the unit! Will rent this condo from Julie again!!

We had a great time. It was a last minute trip made easy. Great communications and we were able to pull it together in less than a week. We loved the view, loved the Island and loved the condo. We plan to come back as soon as we can.

Everything about our week in Joyce's condo was terrific. The property is beautifully maintained, the condo itself is spacious, fully equipped, comfortable and lovely. The beautiful oversized balcony is a treat, the view is magnificent. Joyce is helpful and gracious. We would recommend this property to our friends who are looking for an overall A-1 vacation. We especially enjoyed a nearby restaurant called Guy and Lisa's Philly Grill. It was great for dinner and the next day we brought our guests back for lunch!

Our stay at South Seas Northwest was fantabulous! Location was perfect for walking along the beach(more shells than we've ever seen), to the bagel shop, Starbucks, restaurants, grocery, farmer's market, ice cream shop, shopping, and movie theater. We had our car but used it only to go to Old Marco and off the island (one morning to Naples, one round of golf, and dinner at Pelican Bend-Isle of Capri). Joyce's unit was comfy and had everything we needed and more. Things like games, beach chairs, and beach carts were a bonus. Sunsets from the balcony were AMAZING. Having Wi-Fi in the unit was very helpful. Our desire was for a restful vacation with a lot of sun, reading, walking and just relaxing. Staying here provided exactly what we were seeking. Joyce's procedure for renting is very systematic and thorough, which makes arrival and departure very easy...no surprises. We were pleased to stay in her condo and enjoyed our contact with her. Thanks Joyce for making your condo available so others can enjoy the beauty of SSNW and Marco Island.

Lovely stay in Marco island

We enjoyed staying in Joyce's condo in Marco Island this year. This condo has everything you need including all kitchen and dining needs, lots of bath and beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and even a wheeled beach cart. The beach is lovely, though very wide - quite a hike to get to the edge of the surf! The condo is clean, decorated nicely and has beautiful water views from the living room, master bedroom and balcony. And the king bed was very comfortable - a quite important "must have" for us on vacation. South Seas was a good hub location for us to enjoy the beach as well as visit friends in the southwest Florida area.

Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

This was our first time using homeway.com and therefore we didn't know what to expect, but Joyce made the process very easy and we had no surprises; Joyce was gracious and accommodating. The condominium was clean and well supplied with everything one would need. The view was amazing and the beach was one of the most beautiful we have visited; we definitely prefer the gulf side! We would highly recommend this condominium and it was a great price for the value as well. The island is small, but one would still need a car to get around. Restaurants were outstanding (Snook inn, Crazy Flamingo, NeNe's, Little Bar, Joey's) Thank you Joyce for sharing your condo with us and we hope to re-visit sometime. Karen + Larry Michigan

Your condo was everything we could hope for! My family thoroughly enjoyed it for a first of it’s kind Florida Family Christmas vacation. The condo was immaculate, the location perfect, and the pool and weight room were great to use. You’re two hours from Miami, 30 minutes from the Everglades and Big Cypress, and beachfront on one of the best shelling beaches in America! I could not believe the number of conch shells on the beach and in the water! The flat screen TV was nice to catch a few cooking shows, but nothing compared to Mother Nature’s grand finale on the Friday before we left. Your seat was a perfect vantage point for a great sunset. I’ll be posting it on YouTube soon and I’ll send you a link…Might be a nice addition to your VRBO page. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our visit to Marco Island. The condo is very much as described in the listing and the pictures shown are accurate but due to the wall of mirrors in the living room it appears larger than it is. The listing does say 1200 sq. ft., we should have based our expectation on this rather than the pictures. The unit was clean and very well equipped with everything you would want for your stay. Joyce (the owner), was very helpful in providing directions and suggested attractions and restaurants in the area. We visited most of her recommended spots and they lived-up to expectations. The view from the condo on to the gulf is wonderful and the sunsets are beautiful. The building is well maintained and secured. We would recommend this unit if you are looking to rent in Marco Island.

We love visiting Marco and this property provides wonderful views of the coastline and sunsets. There is a pool and a short walk to the gulf for fun on the beach - the best of both worlds!

Great vacation on Marco Island. I joke about if you have been good in life, this is where you go when you die. The condo was everything Joyce indicated. It was very clean and comfortable and fully stocked with everything needed. We had a wonderful experience with the staff and other visitors and made friends with several. The facility is well maintained and the landscaping is just beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and beach every day but watching the sunsets off the balcony were just awesome. We tried many restaurants and the food was good in most. Our favorite restaurants were Tommy Bahamas for dinner and NeNes Kitchen for breakfast. Thank you Joyce for letting us enjoy your condo. You were a very gracious and accommodating owner. We hope to make this a yearly vacation on Marco Island. May 1 - 26. 2010 Charlie

This was our second year staying in Joyce's condo. We had a wonderful experience and a great vacation. Joyce's condo is quite beautiful, but also very comfortable for our family. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and other needs and we absolutely love the views of the Gulf from her balcony. We look forward to our next stay on Marco Island and hope we have the chance to stay in Joyce's condo in the future.

My husband and I enjoyed a special vacation in Marco staying at Joyce's place. She had everything we needed while on vacation. A fully stocked kitchen, fantastic balcony with the most amazing sunsets every night and really comfortable beds. The beach was great for walking and shell collecting. We'd play backgammon in the afternoons by the pool. We're looking forward to renting again next year!

What a wonderful vacation! The four of us had a lovely time in Marco, and the condo made it even more special. Well kept, clean, and with everything we could ever need - including a coffee grinder and games! We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching all the birds in the lagoon; truly a birder's paradise. And the sunsets were spectacular!

Thank-You Joyce for all your helpful tips for the Marco area.The condo was very nice and although we had much cooler and rainier weather than normal we did still manage to see a few beautiful sunsets! The condo location is great and the property is well kept.I felt very safe there and everything is close by...restaurants,grocery etc.

We have spent the last 4 years on Marco Island. Three of the four in thisunit! We chose this unit because it hasbeen updated, clean and has a great view with beautiful sunsets, access tothe shell-filled beach, and good resturants. The few problems we encountered, were resolved quickly byJoyce. We look forward to another visit to Marco Island!

My mother and I have visited Marco Island every March for over 25 years. We have stayed in a variety of units at the South Seas, and particularly enjoyed staying at this one. It is clean, well appointed and has a lovely view of both the pool and ocean. Marco Island is quiet and a great place to relax. Walks on the beach and planning a dinner cout can be the highlight of one's day. Although we often go to restaurants on Marco, I'd highly recommend trying Bonefish Grill in Naples. The owner is efficient and helpful and a pleasure to deal with!

We've been going to Marco for 20 years. This was our first year in this condo. The sunset views right off the balcony were spectacular, and we never tired of watching the assortment of birds dive into the protected inlet after fish. We especially enjoyed several up-close views of osprey at eye level from the balcony! The condo was clean and sunny and cheerfully decorated. We'll definately rent Joyce's unit again!

My husband and I have visited Marco since 1970, and have stayed at other condos and homes. A few years ago, we had an oppertunity to stay at this condo. It was absolutely beautiful and is very well maintained. As long as we visit Marco, We will continue to stay at this condo. The views are beautiful. Communication is great from time you schedule your vacation dates..

The condo is located in a fabulous spot with beautiful views and trade winds. The South Sea organization keeps the grounds in great shape and enforces the rules of the grounds. The pool was large and the pool area was kept clean. Excellent parking facility. Condo was according to the pictures shown on VBRO. I have visited Marco Island several times and would not hesitate to stay at South Seas again. Hated to leave.

We have spent the last 7 years vacationing on Marco Island. Many different condos and, one year, a house. This condo is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The views each morning over the Gulf, a constant breeze in the evenings to eat out on the balcony and absolutely everything we could ask for. It is close to all the best restaurants and grocery shopping only minutes away. We will definitely be staying here again even though we have friends who own properties further down on Marco. A most wonderful experience and we can't wait to get back.

We simply wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed ourselves on Marco Island last week. Your condo is absolutely gorgeous. It is so well maintained, clean and very homey. You provide all the amenities one could ask for which made our stay so comfortable. We wanted to tell you just how much we enjoyed ourselves, but wanted to simply say thank you. You made the entire experience easy and more so possible. We would love to do this again next year if you will have us. We fully expect that you will receive an acceptable report on our stay. The South Seas association does it right in regards to maintaining rules and regulations for all to follow. It is a first class group and is reflected from the moment you drive onto the property. I'm sure you are proud to be a member of this group. As for Marco itself, what a beautiful place. It is called a paradise and deservedly so We still talk of our stay almost daily and talk of our next visit like it was just around the corner. Marco, your condo and of course you, have made quite an impression on us. Travel is always nice, but when you can travel and still have the comforts of home and be in a place like Marco, what more can one ask for

Enjoyed our stay here. View was lovely with great sunsets and nice view of lagoon, and ocean beyond. It was not what I would describe as oceanfront, as it was still a 15 min. walk to the water. Condo was very clean and very well furnished kitchen, linens, wireless internet, etc. Owner was very helpful in answering any questions we had. Grandchildren especially enjoyed the pool; and contrary to other reports we'd read, there were a few rules they had to follow but they still had fun and the attendant at the pool kept it so clean. If there was a problem, she did not shout across the pool; she came over to the person and spoke to them quietly. Shelling was great, although I never did find the sand dollars. We did miss a grill somewhere on the property. Laundry room was clean and convenient. Many, many restaurants. We liked Snooks, Cafe deMarco and Verde's. Also enjoyed our trips to Naples to take part in more cultural events and their historic area (only 30 mins away). We would recommend this property.

Owner response: Clarification the oceanfront comment: My condo is a beachfront unit with ocean views of The Gulf of Mexico. South Seas has the largest amount of beachfront (sand) on Marco Island, therefore depending on where one enters onto the beach, the walk to the actual shore line can be from a 5 minutes up 15 minutes, but the beauty if this is that you get to pick any spot you wish to sit on since our white sandy beach is never crowded!

This was a fabulous place to stay on Marco Island. The pictures are accurate; the condo was comfortable and clean. Laundry is available down the hall on the same floor. There is a workout room with 2 treadmills, 2 bikes and an eliptical, plus a precor weight machine.The grounds are meticulous; the pool is nice. The view is priceless. Lots of great restaurants nearby; our favs were Nacho Mamas(fun Mexican)and The Snook Inn(seafood was great).
