Luxury Condo at the brand new Bay View Grand, privately owned resort on El Palmar beach in Ixtapa. Spectacular ocean views at very reasonable cost. A private, exclusive, gated resort with 24-hr security guards.
This seventh floor, 1600 sq.ft. condo with large 200 sq.ft. balcony and two person jacuzzi overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Islands. The kitchen and bathrooms have been upgraded with granite counters and tempered glass showers. All furniture has been custom designed with this unit in mind.
Always comfortable temps between 85-90 during the day and approximately 10 degrees lower at night.
Ixtapa offers two golf courses with one across the street designed by Robert Trent Jones with views of the ocean. The other is located next to the new 100 slip marina at the north end of the beach (two miles away).

This was a complete FIRST CLASS surprise of a gem. Breathtaking ocean and beach views, from the main living rooms and kitchen. We loved just sitting on the balcony for hours watch the sea. Great restaurants around town, but the best deal in town was the great priced palapa restaurant at the condo development which served up wonderful drinks and meals. Thanks for a fun stay. Bob from Southern California.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My family and I had a fabulous time at this lovely condo at the Bay View Grand. The property was clean, well appointed and had a beautiful view of the Pool, Beach and Ocean. We could listen to the surf on the balcony at night and by day, play at the beach, swim in one of two pools and be treated like we were at a 5 star hotel by the very attentive waiters serving from the poolside grill...which had excellent and very reasonably priced meals and drinks. The property is very safe and since it is a condo, not over-crowded. The restaurants of Ixtapa are within walking distance and there are some excellent choices. Zihua is only a 10 minute bus ride away. And you can walk to "Swim with the Dolphins", which was an incredible experience. My 7 year old daughter loved the beach, the surf and the access to the pool. We were all sad to leave.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Ixtapa:
After exploring numerous Mexican Beach locations such as Cabo San Lucas, Ixtapa had as much if not more to offer than the rest. The daytime temperature is usually anywhere from the 80's to 90's. At night the temperature rarely drops below 70 degrees. Ixtapa has been able to maintain its affordability while offering the same amenities as other locations.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
2 wading pools, 3 swimming pools, an oversized 10+ person hot tub, the beach is just yards from the pools, poolside Palapas offering a drink and lunch menu, 24- Hour gated security, cabs & busses avaialble aty the gate, 1 Golf Course loacted just 1/8 mile from the condo and a 2nd Golf Course located 3 miles from the condo. There is a market directly across from the condo. 5 minute cab ride to Zihuatanejo and only 20 minutes from the airport.
