Our stay at the condo was everything as advertised and then some. As soon as we stepped in, we felt right at home. The unit was meticulous. The beds were super comfortable. And the view from the terrace was outstanding. What we enjoyed even more was that it was only a short car or bike ride to Duval Street and yet the area around the condo was tranquil. Also, the location was only a few hundred feet from the nicest beach in Key West. Alongside the beach was a paved sidewalk that ran for miles, and was perfect for biking and jogging. One other thing. The pool was enormous and the pool area was great for just chilling with a book. As I said at the top, it made us not want to go back to NY.

My wife and I stayed here this past week. The property is as advertised. The view from the balcony of the property and the ocean is superb. Also, both bedrooms and the living area have balcony access and similar views as the balcony. The condo was spacious and decorated nicely. The kitchen was not as well stocked with cookware and utensils s it could have been; however, since we did not cook, this did not pose a problem for us. The condo association keeps adequate security on property to ensure noise levels and riff-raff are kept down, which is very nice. During this time of year, the building is nearly vacant, so that also lent to a very quiet stay - much appreciated. Overall, our stay was excellent and I would recommend this property if you want an excellent condo at a reasonable price, that is quiet.

My wife and I stayed at the condo at 1800 Atlantic Blvd and had a great time for the week we were there. The inside of the condo and balcony were neat, clean and a great place to spend time. The condo provided all the things necessary to prepare meals and eat in if you are so inclined. If you wanted to be poolside or in the hot tub there was plenty of room and everything was neat and clean there also. The property overall provided an excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy the Key West experience. 1800 Atlantic is next to Smathers beach and a nature walk and just a short walk or bike ride to Higgs beach and a great restaurant. We would love to stay there again!

Key West Our Destination (a family decision)

My family and I had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful condo. We decided on Key West as a destination along with our two adult children as a change of pace. We are so glad we did. The condo is roomy, decorated beautifully, and has an ample kitchen (though we mostly dined out!). The balcony is large and has pleasing view of the ocean . The pool is heated and located very close to the ocean. It was fun to watch the sailboats and parasailers from both the pool and balcony. We enjoyed the trolley tour, historic seaport area, and the Butterfly Conservatory. Every restaurant was a dining adventure. We especially enjoyed dinner at the Dante's where they cooked our catch. Of course, lunch at Margaritaville was fun, too! Our children (adults) enjoyed the Duval Street nightlife, while my husband and I enjoyed the tranquility of the condo. Everything was close enough to do both. I hope all future visitors enjoy their stays as much as we did.

We have been vacationing in Key West every winter since 1998 and 1800 Atlantic is one of the best places we have found. The location is great--minutes from downtown Duval Street with all that excitement and just far enough away from the noise to enjoy ralaxing time on the balcony overlooking the ocean, pool & gardens. The pool & spa are delightful. Highly recommend this property for a stay in Key West. When in Key West, you must toast the sunset. And great places to do this are at 1) Mallory Square, 2) top of La Conche at Crowne Plaza, 3) sunset cruise on a sailing ship, 4) dinner at Latitudes on Sunset Island. We hope to be back again next year.

Christmas in Paradise

Our family had the time of our lives in Key West for the Christmas holidays We stayed at this outstanding condo property previously but this condo raises the bar . Their condo was absolutely beautiful,clean, and tastefully decorated. There was a generous supply of fresh towels and spare linens. The hugh balcony was the place where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. The views were above our expectations and previous experience. We enjoyed the huge heated pool, hot tub, sauna and tennis courts. The condo is nestled between two sandy beaches. One is the adjoining property, the other is a very short walk away. The property is a bit away from the hot spots but the island is small so nothing is far away. The property had all of the amenities that my family hoped for and more. We very much felt like we were at home for the holidays. We enjoyed the serenity of this very special place. We are so happy we found Paradise Found. Our family can’t wait to return. The owners, Mike and Lori, were very honest, helpful and wonderful to us! We highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Key West.

Amazing Vacation in Key West

1800 Atlantic is a wonderful place to stay. The property is located right between two amazing pubic beaches . . . Smathers and Higgs Beaches . . . we were able to rent bikes and ride all over the island. We also walked every morning along the ocean and beach. The condo is amazing . . . so much room, big kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels , beach stuff, beach towels . . . we couldn't believe all the stuff that was there for our use. And having a washer and dryer is the best of all! We ate raw oysters and key lime pie every day! We mostly ate in the marina area at night . . . our favorite spot was Anthony's Oyster House for 1/2 price appetizers and drinks from 4:30-6:30. The owners of this condo are so nice. We really felt at home there . . . very secure and quiet. If we could live in Key West, we would live at 1800 Atlantic. The pool and spa are very nice and grounds are well maintained. We are all ready talking about going back next year and if we do, we will hopefully stay at the same place. FYI - The City View Tour is a must.

Visiting Key West Florida has always been on my bucket list, Well I finally made it and we had a wonderful time, picked the perfect place to stay, This condo is huge, very clean, very quiet. My girl friend and I had breakfast on the deck each morning overlooking the pool and ocean view. Underground gated parking is a bonus (didn't have to worry about my rental car). TWO HUGE THUMBS UP I would highly recommend staying here

One never knows if photos are hype or reality......let this one be a no-brainer for you.....it's lovely, immaculate, great location, has wonderful amenities...and the owner's have worked hard to anticpate their guest's every need......we reserved with friends over Thanksgiving week....it simply couldn't have been any better. We live in the mountains of North Carolina and travel toward the beach for vacation. There's so much to do in Key West.....diving, snorkeling, swimming, fishing......fabulous restaurants.....loads of shopping to please everyone..... This condo was absolutely beautiful! The online pictures do not do it justice! There was plenty of room for our party of 6 . The views of the ocean and the pool were delightful. The condo was sunny and spacious and very thoughtfully appointed . There was everything we needed during our stay and then some. We arrived very late and were pleased that check in was quick and easy at the property. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone staying in Key West. The pool and hot tub were great and there was plenty of chairs. We loved walking along the oceanfront and collecting our Key West treasures. Surely within these sponges and coral pieces there must be a piece of eight. There is a really good beach adjacent to the condo property. What a great vacation!

This is the 4th year, we have stayed in this unit and we LOVE it, one of the most relaxing vacations ever. Unit is always clean and neat, having the full kitchen and washer and dryer allows us to not have to eat out every night and we can pack light which is a real plus. We get up and go for a nice walk along the beach, then lay around the pool to late afternoon, go in shower and off to Duval St. Actually I could do this all year but at least we get a week in Paradise. We already have our November 2012 week booked and we are patiently waiting for it.

Honeymoon Condo

We recently returned from a wonderful wedding and honeymoon in Key West. We stayed in this lovely condo nine days and it was a wonderful place to stay. The condo location is great, on the private side of the complex with plenty of afternoon sun and quiet. The pool is perfect. Being a swimmer I was able to get my laps in every day while my wife enjoyed walks/runs on Smather's Beach, starting across the street. Most of our activities took place outdoors (of course, it's Key West) but we found this a great place to return. The BBQ out in the courtyard served as our "rehearsal dinner" BBQ for some friends and family. All in all, perfect. We would recommend this to anyone looking for an ideal location that has it all!

Clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and better than I've ever experienced is what I have to say about this beautiful oceanfront condo. Owner is very pleasant to deal with, and quick to respond to questions/communications. The pool area was very nice, including the grill/picnic areas adjacent to the pool/hot tube. The large jetted tub in the big bathroom is to die for! Uncluttered, spacious condo with a large deck area accessible from either bedroom/living area provides a gorgeous view of the ocean in the morning. I plan on going back and I will stay HERE!

THE CONDO WAS THE BOMB. HAD BREAKFAST ON THE BALCONY OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN. EVERY MORNING. THE POOL AND HOT TUB ARE AMAZING. EVERYTHING IS LUSH AND CLEAN. FELT VERY SECURE IN THIS PROPERTY. FIRST TRIP TO KEY WEST WAS A BLAST. ALSO WENT SNORKELING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. THE CONDO WAS AWAY FROM THE BUSY DUVAL STREET BUT RENTED BIKES EVERY DAY AND QUICK BIKE TRIP TO THE BUSY PART OF TOWN. WILL DEFINITELY RETURN TO KEY WEST AND STAY WITH MIKE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. First timer in the Keys

The condo was amazing. It was bigger than it looked in the pictures. The view from the balcony was wonderful and we enjoyed it every morning with our coffee. This was the off season for Key West but still busy as cruise ships came in at least every other day. Took the Conch Train ride and really enjoyed the history of Key West. Everyone was wonderful and very friendly. We tried to do everything we could. We took a trip to the Dolphin Research Center that was wonderful. We could have spend the whole day there watching the trainers with the dolphins. Hemingway's house was a surprise as it was not over the top but looked down homey. We would love to return and stay here again.

My husband and I recently spent 5 wonderful days at this property. Condo is clean, fully equipped including wet bar. All rooms are tasteful and huge. Master bath has the biggest shower/jacuzzi I have ever seen! Both bedrooms and livingroom have sliding doors out to balcony where the view of the gardens, pool and beach are beautiful. Security people were pleasant and helpful as well as the other tenants. Building is located close to the main hub yet you feel that you are in a secluded part of the city. Handy location to markets and stores as well as party-ready downtown. Restaurants are varied and fantastic and if you bring home a catch, many will clean and serve it to you as well.

Incredible Vacation

We were very impressed with the property. The condo itself was extremely clean, beautifully decorated and the view from the balcony overlooking the ocean was breathtaking. The pool and hot tub were perfect for our teenage kids. Steps away are paddle boat and kayak rentals. Parasailing is a must. Also a "must do" is pay a visit to Fort Zachary Taylor Park. Amazing snorkeling along several rock jettys. Duval St. is perfect for late night "mommy- daddy" time. Lots of great restaurants and live music. We recommend taking a cab. Parking is unbearable and more expensive. Do your grocery shopping on the main drag before Key West unless you want to pay 5.00 for a loaf of bread. This site made it easy for us to choose the perfect place for our vacation.The property manager was very personable and a pleasure to deal with. Can't wait to get back next year.

A Week in Paradise

We had a wonderful first time visit to Key West due to the great accommodations. The condo is beautiful, well maintained, well equipped, and i a good location. The view from our balcony was awesome. I don't think the pictures really show how beautiful this property is. We loved the pool and the hot tub and the gorgeous landscaping around the buildings. All of the people we encountered were very friendly, from the security personnel, to the maintenance staff, and the other visitors at the pool. We loved the pool so much that we really didn't go to the nearby beaches at all even though they are a short walk away. We had rented a car so getting into town wasn't a problem. Finding a parking space is a bit of a problem but you can find parking in a few lots. Bicycles would be a great way to get around also. Restaurants are wonderful (so many restaurants, so little time). We loved this property and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is considering a trip to Key West. We'll definitely be back! Thanks for the great vacation!

Great Vacation

First time in Key West and we were very pleased with the amenities that the condo provided, it was very clean and we had an excellent view of the pool area and the ocean, the view you see in the picture is what you get, it was very beautiful. We met some really nice people at the pool, everyone there is very friendly. The property is a small walk to Smathers Beach. You will need some type of transportation to travel around, it is a very long walk to Duvall street either a car or bicycle,or you can get a cab, $4.00 a person to go downtown, and between $7.00 and $8.00 a person to the airport, don't plan of renting a golf cart as there are no plugins on the property. We had a great time on Duvall street, good food, good drink and good people! Michael Commins is very easy to work with, he was there at the same time and looked us up...he was just checking in with us to make sure we were having a good time and we were happy with the condo...I call that great customer service!!

Our family of four was very comfortable in this well equipped condo. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we spent many hours relaxing there. The courtyard garden and pool where also really nice. The security/office staff where very nice and also very helpful with tourist tips etc. It's a bit too far to walk to the old town area so we used public garage near the intersection of Caroline and Grinnell which has very reasonable rates. It's short walk to downtown from the garage. Just down the street from the condo, the Key West Garden Club has created a wonderful garden inside an old civil war fort. Just past the fort there is a great waterfront restaurant called Salute which is also walking distance from the condo.

Wonderful condo in Key West

We stayed there for 1 week in mid-January 2011. Beautiful condo (#426) located on the southern shore of Key West, about 1 mile west from the airport. Rooms are very nicely laid out with a great view of the sea. The pictures on the website of the unit and the views truly depict what you get when staying in this unit. Both bedrooms and the living areas have access to the large balcony which overlooks the ocean as well. Having a washer/drier/dishwasher along with covered garage area was very useful. One does need a car or some means of getting into the Old Town, but it is a very short walk to the adjoining, mile-long Smathers Beach which has nice sand and water playground facilities. The condo facility does have a nicely heated pool and a large, hot tub-pool. A high level of security was evident with secured garage and multiple site access as well as a full time security guard. These 4th floor condos facing the sea and southwest are among the best locations available at the 1800 Atlantic suite of condos. Very high speed internet is great and complimentary 90+ cable channel. The owners are very nice to deal with and responsive via the internet. Definitely a place we would stay at again and again!

Best place to stay in Key West

This condo was perfect for our first time to Key West. The place was very well maintained and clean. It was better than the pictures and the description portray. The complex comes fully equipped with a large heated pool, a 20 person jacuzzi, and an unbelievable view of the Atlantic. Smather's beach was just steps away and the nightlife and excitement of Duvall street and Mallory Square was just a short drive away. The best feature of this condo is the large balcony that is accessible from both bedrooms and the large living room. Private indoor parking was an added bonus. My three college age daughters, my wife, my mother-in-law and I would highly recommend renting this condo if you really want to enjoy all that Key West has to offer.

Dream Condo We Hit The Jack Pot

Our first time to Key West and We Hit the Jack Pot. My wife and I traveled to Key West with our 4 daughters,ages 8,9,12 and 16. The condo was large well appointed and clean and comfortable. We loved the hugh balcony with views of the Ocean and Palm trees swaying to the tropical breezes. It surpassed our Dreams (even the girls agreed). The pool area was hugh,well maintained with lots of lounges and family friendly. The adjoining beach was agreat place to try out our new snorkeling equiptment . Our youngest thought this was a really cool aquarium. A short ride to Duval Street and Mallory Square for the sunset entertainment is not to be missed.I would suggest taking The Conch Train first. It gives you the opportunity of seeing all the sites and then choose what you want to do . The owners were very helpful in answering our many questions before our trip from California. Can,t Wait to return. Thank You Mike and Lori for your beautiful place.

Beautiful area with good tenniscourts (trainer available), large pool and jacussi. The apartment is large and very nice (a bit 1980's-like e.g. mirrors on walls). Huge bedrooms, but only beds for four persons. A good AV system incl TV, Radio, DVD, Video and cable. Very good Internet access. This apartment can be recommended.!

We stayed in this property during Oct 2010. I cannot reccomend this condo enough if you are looking for complete relaxation. The interior was exceptionaly spacious and contains everything that you would expect and more, it was like home from home - even cable TV! The balcony is huge with sun loungers should you not want to go down to the pool. The whole area is maintained to a very high standard, in fact while we were there, work was being carried out on a daily basis to keep the building and surrounding area in tip top condition. There is a great security system which gives you peace of mind when returning late at night. Parking is underneath the building and you enter the lobby from the garage, no need to go back outside to the street. The pool and sun lounging area is absolutely spotless. I've got to say that the heated pool is the cleanest I've ever seen. All the residents that we met were very welcoming and friendly. The location on the Island is great, we drove down to Duval St etc, but we saw a bus that passed right outside that we could've taken. It was Fantasy Festival whilst we were in Key West, so we were grateful to be away from the main town as it was incredibly busy and definitely not appropriate for under 18's!!. When we return to Key West in the future I sincerely hope that this condo is available. Thanks again Mike, it was everything you promised!

We just made our 1st trip to Key West & loved staying at this condo. It is a nice, quiet setting during the day & easy to get to downtown in the evenings. We had breakfast on the balcony patio every morning. The pool was wonderful...never crowded, just the right temp, very refreshing. Took a nap there every day! And the hot tub was wonderful too! Loved the ocean view. Right next to Smather's Beach. We would definitely stay here again. The only bad part was leaving!

My family and I have been renting from Mike and Lori for many, many years now. The overall property is incredible and very accomodating to families but we have never felt overwhelmed by children there. The courtyard; the landscaping . . . GORGEOUS! Having a full kitchen and a washer and dryer in the unit is also a very, very nice benefit. Property Managment is extremely responsive and helpful. But the thing we like the most is the wonderful, full-size patio. Waking up in the morning and sitting on that patio enjoying coffee and breakfast with the beautiful, serene ocean laid out in front of you is what vacation is all about. You really can't go wrong with this property.

Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We really enjoyed our vacation here. We actually had a tropical storm come through at the beginning of our stay. We did not have any problems. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The Condo was very spacious and well maintained. The A/C and fridge could have been cooler but overall a very nice place. Lots of activities around, including bikes and scooters. The view from the balcony was my favorite thing about the place. It was beautiful. I would love to stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

We loved our Key West vacation and were very happy with this Condo - it was well-maintained, clean and very spacious! It was the perfect size for our family of four - 2 adults, and 2 teenagers. The balcony was great, very large, and we ate all breakfasts out there, the view was fantastic. We really liked the location - right next to Smather's beach, and an easy bike ride into the "downtown" Key West area. We would definitely rent here again and recommend to our friends. The decor was a little outdated and the building exterior could use a little updating, but overall this was a great value to us!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
