We stayed here with a 3 month old baby in August. The chalet is so cozy and beautifully designed. The views are awesome! Loved the deck and watching the hot air ballons in the morning. We took walks in the neighborhood, went to the hot springs (don't miss Strawberry Park Hot Springs) and ate yummy food (recommend Sunpies right on the river). We will definately return whenever possible.

The listing description was accurate regarding the location. The listing photos were great, but the home was even better than the photos. Loved that the bus location was close especially for skiing. Enjoyed eating at Mazzola's Italian Restaurant. Both skiing and snowshoeing were exceptional. I ate a Ragnar's on the ski mountain for lunch. Total experience was great. Only thing that was a bit frustrating to us was that the WiFi was not working.

Five of us stayed in the Chalet for 6 days and 5 nights. The home is in tiptop shape and did not have a single problem. The only problem we did have was leaving. We all had plenty of space to relax after a day of skiing. It’s about a 2 to 3 minute drive to the free parking or the parking garage. We did try the free shuttle but we all decided that the car was more suitable for us. This home has fantastic views to the ski mountain and beyond. The hot tub was nice to relax in after a day of skiing. We all plan on making this a yearly event and would defiantly stay in this home again. Margaret was great to work with. Perfect home and perfect location.

We stayed at Chalet Chipmunk in January 2009. Very nicely decorated and homey (not ultra-lux glitzy). Very clean and well-maintained. Christmas lights inside and out. Well stocked kitchen made it easy to cook in. Wi-fi worked well and was high speed. Private lot. Good size for 4 adults and 2 kids. Close to the mountain and Gondola Square (5 minute drive). Bus stop is about a 5 minute walk downhill in the morning and, grunt, uphill at night. Great views of town and valley view ski run. Margaret was great to work with. Would definately consider staying here again.

A very comfortable place to stay. This small house is on three different levels which is nice for privacy if you don't mind the stairs. The views are great as advertised and the hot tub was very nice after skiing. Kitchen well equipped. Close to the mountain but not ski in/out. The closest shuttle pick-up is fair walk down a steep hill so worked best for us to drive and park at area or get dropped off. We found it to be a good value.

We were pleasantly surprised when we drove up to the chalet- it was more than perfect! The whole property inside and out, was well maintained and very well decorated. We loved having a beautiful view from the living room and deck. We ended up eating in each night because we felt so comfortable just hanging out and feeling at home. I am very picky about decor and I was very happy that it was very comfortable in feel but very well done. We loved having the spa to sit in after our long day hiking and biking. The owners were very friendly too. We have twin babies and they were extremely accommodating in having cribs set up for them. We will make this our home away from home in Steamboat

The chalet was both gorgeous, and cozy. You felt like you were in the lap of luxury, while also feeling like you were in the comfort of your own home. We never ate out, because we had everything we needed to have great family meals. The chalet is perfectly located to get to the mountain within a few minutes. The snow in Steamboat is amazing. There were so many things to do that we had trouble choosing, but ended up settling on a few days at the local little hill with the kids to ride the magic carpet, dog-sledding, and a few adult days of snowboarding on the big mountain. We can't wait to go back!

We returned to the chalet in March of 2008. This time we had a almost 2 year old and a 3 month old in tow. The house was even more perfect - the kitchen stocked with all the needed tools, even spices. The views were great and so was the snow.
