Welcome to our beautifully decorated two bedroom, two bathroom + bunks for the kids beachfront condominium. The Lighthouse is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico and is near entertainment, restaurants, golf, tennis, and shopping. The Lighthouse is the newest condo building in Gulf Shores and was completed in June 2006. Make sure you check out our other Lighthouse listing as well... VRBO #316445!
The complex has everything you need to have a great vacation with friends or family. Within The Lighthouse Property, you have two large outdoor pools (one lap and one zero entry that’s 'great' for kids!), indoor pool, two hot tubs and workout room. The master bedroom and living room each have floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that open to a large balcony overlooking the pools and beach. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom with double sink vanity, walk-in closet, large whirlpool tub, and walk-in shower.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed and an adjoining bathroom. There is also a private bunk room with twin size bunk beds suitable for kids. The bunk room has its own flat screen TV with DVD player so the kids can enjoy their own DVD's and TV shows. The living room also has a queen sleeper sofa which provides more sleep accommodations.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all major and portable appliances. Dinnerware, cookware, and utensils are provided. There is plenty of cabinet space as well as a pantry for extra storage. The dining table seats four. The breakfast bar area seats three, or enjoy dining on the 200 square ft. balcony over looking the beautiful gulf beach and swimming pools. There is a large laundry room with full-size washer and dryer and plenty of storage for floats, flip-flops, etc. An ironing board, iron and vacuum are also available.
Of your choosing the condominium has ethernet direct connect or WI-FI Wireless High-Speed Internet setup.

Please excuse my tardiness in writing my review, but the experience was so impressive, I feel like it was last week...being a first-time condo renter I was anxious...everything from actually finding a condo to rent, to the quality of the condo, to the cleanliness and maintenance was easy and everything that we were told to expect...the owner had everthing "mapped" out and all we had to do was make our payment and show...we would definitely recommend this owner's property and plan to meet with relatives at the same location at the end of this year.

This was our first time using VRBO and it was a great experience. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and made the process smooth. The condo itself was just as descibed and in great shape. Would definitely book again.

Lighthouse is a large complex with all the amenities you'll need. The condo itself has plenty of room, 2 bed plus bunk beds, even had a pack n play. We all had a great time!

This condo is in an ideal location, within walking distance of restaurants & shopping. The beach access type pool is perfect for younger children or parents that enjoy laying out in the sun while being in the water. The unit itself is beautifully decorated & very comfortable. We had a wonderful vacation & would certainly stay in this unit again!

We loved this condo! We've stayed a couple of other places as well, but loved the updated feel of this one. The pools were great for our four year old daughter, and we loved spending our dinners out on the balcony. Great Location and close to stores and restaurants! Oh and our daughter loved the big jet bathtub!! And my husband took our daughter parasailing right next door and they loved it!! Thanks for letting us stay in your condo!!!! Sorry it took so long for us to do this review LOL we have been in the moving process ever since we got home from Alabama!!!

My husband and I stayed at the condo with our 1 1/2 year old and another couple. The condo was perfect, spacious and had everything we needed. There was an extra kids room but we ended up sticking the pack n play in the huge closet in the master bedroom and our son slept in there (with the door open:)). There are two pools but the walk-in pool was absolutely perfect for toddlers. The view from the large balcony was fantastic. My husband and I are both chefs and made lobster and seafood paella and dined on the balcony both nights, gorgeous. The beach was beautiful and we spent a lot of time in the water. It's a nice walk to the fishing pier so the husbands got up early one morning and rented poles and did some fishing. (to rent poles, buy bait and licenses it cost about 20 bucks). We will definitely be back!

My husband and I love the Lighthouse and were looking for the perfect condo that everything we needed. It was very spacious and comfortable for our in-laws as well. I alway search for a condo that has the feel of a vacation home and is decorated to feel like your LIVING on the beach. We had a great time and the owners were beyond helpful. I recommend this to any type of families traveling to the beach! Lighthouse Condos are defenitely the best in Gulf Shores.

We were so happy to find the unit furnished so wonderfully, we could grill fish, cook, wash clothes...it was just like being at home! The view, the pools, the beach, we loved it! Only issue was the parking. My son, a student at Unv of Mobile, came to eat with us one night had difficultly entering as did our daughter with her 7month old baby. Terry, at the 2nd floor desk was wonderful and did what she could to ease our parking difficulties. We were really put out by this when you could see there were more empty spaces than occupied spaces and still very difficult to park. Other than the parking...our visit was perfect! Really.
Owner response:Nancy, the association has been cracking down on people not renting and using our facilities. The facilities are for our owners and renters only... not freeloaders, which is to everyone's benefit. Parking passes are our first line of defense. I wished you had notified me of this first... we had an answer and could have resolved this immediately. I am so glad you had fun, next time, just let me know.
