Nice place to stay--loved having a recliner in the living room. Especially liked having to not worry about a key with the keyless entry system. Kids liked the bunk room saying the mattresses were comfortable, Would stay here again. John T.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children.

We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a place to stay in Gulf Shores. We found the condo to be very clean and cozy with all the amenities we could possibly need during our week long stay. The views from our balcony were spectacular and the condo was a short walk to nearby stores and restaurants! The owner Gary was an absolute pleasure to work with leading up to our stay and we hope to stay with him again in the near future. Anyone looking for a great place to vacation should look no further!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We made plans last minute to head to the beach for a long weekend. Gary was very quick to respond and helpful with all questions. This condo is one of the nicest I have stayed in. We especially loved the master bedroom and bath! We have already saved this condo in our minds for future plans!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our sixth time staying at the Lighthouse, our first time at this unit.We stayed a whole month and it was wonderful!!We enjoyed each and every day.Unit 913 was a perfect place to stay, everything you need is there for you.We even got to meet the owner,not that we had a problem, he was there on business.Gary was just like a member of our family.This was also our first time booking with a owner,it was so much cheaper and very easy to book.While we were there we felt like we owned the conda!!We will stay there again and I have already recommend the unit to two other couples to rent.Just a great time at the beach! We found this gem last year and rented it for a quick Mother/Daughter/Granddaughter/GreatGranddaughter get away. When we walked in it took our breath away. It was beautiful! The view, the location, the decor... couldn't be beat! Loved the pools.... they even had beach toys you could borrow. The owner was so kind and helpful. I knew we found the place we would always stay at when my 87 year old Mother stood on the balcony and cried at how beautiful it was. Thank you for letting us stay in your home. When looking for a beach condo we always consider the balcony furnishings. The outdoor furniture was spot on for lounging, dining and playing family board games. The unit was exactly as it had been described and photographed on the VRBO website. I can't say enough good things about this complex and this condo. We give it two thumbs up. EXCELLENT!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family LOVED this place! I am a mother of 2 young boys who were dying to make a beach trip. Neither my husband nor myself had been to the Gulf Shores beaches in years. It was worth the trip this time. We had a spectacular beach view and were located close to everything! Having a kitchen and washer and dryer was such a big deal for me because I could prepare some meals in the condo and I didn't have loads of laundry to do when we got home. Owner was AWESOME to work with as we were late Summer travelers and were trying to find a place on short notice. We were so lucky that this spot was available. Hope that this review will help you make this your beach stop. We hope we can be guests again this year!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is a great condo that is well maintained and contains top notch furnishings. Can't think of anything wrong with the property other than the fact that we could not stay longer. The owner of the property was a pleasure to deal with making the entire transaction process almost seamless. My favorite amenity was the keypad entry system. I can't tell you how nice is was to not have to keep up with a key. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

What a great vacation spot. This is a premier property with fabullous views,pools,and beaches. Our room was very will appointed with everything we needed to make our stay very comfotable. The doors are equiped with number pads, just enter your code for access. (no keys to keep up with) Gary was very easy to deal with and made sure everything was just as advertised on the website. We are already making plans to return next summer.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

From the beginning, Gary made the rental process very easy with his quick responses and clear communication. Upon arrival, my friends and I were thrilled to see that condo met -- and exceeded -- our expectations. It is situated in the perfect place that allowed us to walk almost everywhere. It was far enough from Hangout (about 7 minute walk) that we didn't feel crowded or overwhelmed at all. And, yes, do bring binoculars! We awoke each day and went to the balcony to see dolphins playing in the ocean. I would recommend this place to anyone!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We stayed at Lighthouse condos for our spring break week. With 5 children between the ages of 14-23 we were hoping everyone would be happy. This was the perfect place! Everyone had a great vacation. The condo was awesome! It was neat, clean and large enough to accomodate six of us. Gary was a great help with any additional information we needed. The view from this condo is breathtaking! We saw dolphins everyday and the beach was very clean. I would recommend this condo to anyone! It was absolutely beautiful!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Lighthouse is a large complex with all the amenities you'll need. The condo itself has plenty of room, 2 bed plus bunk beds, even had a pack n play. We all had a great time!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

This was our first time using VRBO and it was a great experience. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and made the process smooth. The condo itself was just as descibed and in great shape. Please excuse my tardiness in writing my review, but the experience was so impressive, I feel like it was last week...being a first-time condo renter I was anxious...everything from actually finding a condo to rent, to the quality of the condo, to the cleanliness and maintenance was easy and everything that we were told to expect...the owner had everthing "mapped" out and all we had to do was make our payment and show...we would definitely recommend this owner's property and plan to meet with relatives at the same location at the end of this year.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

This condo is in an ideal location, within walking distance of restaurants & shopping. The beach access type pool is perfect for younger children or parents that enjoy laying out in the sun while being in the water. The unit itself is beautifully decorated & very comfortable. Our daughter got married at the Gulf State Park so we booked this unit. It was everything the owner promised. My husband and I stayed at the condo with our 1 1/2 year old and another couple. The condo was perfect, spacious and had everything we needed. There was an extra kids room but we ended up sticking the pack n play in the huge closet in the master bedroom and our son slept in there (with the door open:)). There are two pools but the walk-in pool was absolutely perfect for toddlers. The view from the large balcony was fantastic. My husband and I are both chefs and made lobster and seafood paella and dined on the balcony both nights, gorgeous. The beach was beautiful and we spent a lot of time in the water. It's a nice walk to the fishing pier so the husbands got up early one morning and rented poles and did some fishing. (to rent poles, buy bait and licenses it cost about 20 bucks). We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We loved this condo! We've stayed a couple of other places as well, but loved the updated feel of this one. The pools were great for our four year old daughter, and we loved spending our dinners out on the balcony. Great Location and close to stores and restaurants! Oh and our daughter loved the big jet bathtub!! And my husband took our daughter parasailing right next door and they loved it!! Thanks for letting us stay in your condo!!!! Sorry it took so long for us to do this review LOL we have been in the moving process ever since we got home from Alabama!!!Recommended for: Families with young children

My husband and I love the Lighthouse and were looking for the perfect condo that everything we needed. It was very spacious and comfortable for our in-laws as well. I alway search for a condo that has the feel of a vacation home and is decorated to feel like your LIVING on the beach. We had a great time and the owners were beyond helpful. I recommend this to any type of families traveling to the beach! Lighthouse Condos are defenitely the best in Gulf Shores.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We were so happy to find the unit furnished so wonderfully, we could grill fish, cook, wash clothes...it was just like being at home! The view, the pools, the beach, we loved it! Only issue was the parking. My son, a student at Unv of Mobile, came to eat with us one night had difficultly entering as did our daughter with her 7month old baby. Terry, at the 2nd floor desk was wonderful and did what she could to ease our parking difficulties. We were really put out by this when you could see there were more empty spaces than occupied spaces and still very difficult to park. Other than the parking...our visit was perfect! Really.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Nancy, the association has been cracking down on people not renting and using our facilities. The facilities are for our owners and renters only... not freeloaders, which is to everyone's benefit. Parking passes are our first line of defense. I wished you had notified me of this first... we had an answer and could have resolved this immediately. I am so glad you had fun, next time, just let me know. We just spent 2 1/2 months at your condo. What an enjoyable experience. The condo was very nicely decorated with comfortable couches, nice recliner, and a new tile shower. We 've stayed in other condos in the area but this is our favorite. It's within walking distance of many restaurants and activities. The beach is wonderful with white sand , beach chairs for rent. In fact we liked it so much we're coming back next year.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

All I can say is good about this property, this unit, this location and these owners. It was a great vacation. Even the Chair guy on the beach was cool and took care of business.
