Walk an easy 10 minutes to the beach, and the Inter-Coastal Waterway (runs parallel to the sea) rings around the island. For boaters, the marina is less than two miles. Shopping and dining are all nearby. A bridge connects you from your peaceful retreat on the island to the heart of the action!
Newly remodeled with granite/stainless steel kitchen, stone-tile bathrooms with granite counter-tops, two dining areas plus breakfast bar, living room and family room. This eclectic, artsy home offers two master bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a king. The third bedroom features twin beds (suitable for either adults or children). The family room has two sleeper sofas, a double and a queen. The full sleeper is on wheels for your convenience, as it can be rolled into the third bedroom (for privacy) or living room (for more speciousness).

Why the Owner Chose Lauderdale Beach
Lauderdale-By-The-Sea has all the trendy restaurants, shops and galleries for the Ft. Lauderdale area. Yet Terra Mar Island is very secluded and protected from the onslaught of tourists and beach addicts. It is a quiet and serene neighborhood where you can still leave your doors unlocked. The neighbors are warm and friendly.
The Unique Benefits of this
I enjoy walking to the beach in the mornings to watch the sun rise. Even in the winter, the ocean temperature rarely dips below 72 degrees, so it is always nice to take a swim. Since the beach is only 4 blocks away, it's a quick walk whenever I feel like taking a quick dip in the ocean. The beach adjacent Terra Mar Island is always uncrowded, laid-back and quiet. The larger beach crowds are at the public beaches just a 10 minute drive away whenever I'm in the mood to mingle and socialize, or simply enjoy all the typical eye candy.
