Let yourself be guided by the long driveway, along a linden allee that will lead you to the Chateau de La Trousse. In front of you a majestic castle built in 1864 will appear. Your holiday accommodation is a comfortable apartment (56 square meters) on the 1st floor of the main building, with a fireplace, stylish decor, and satellite TV and CD player. In the 17th-century stables are an oubliette (a form of prison) and an ancient pigeon-house in perfect condition for you to visit. The ancient cellars house the laundry and an additional kitchen for all to use.

On the grounds are gardens, orchards, a greenhouse/glass house, huge ancient trees, a little forest--every restful escape imaginable. The swimming-pool (12 x 6 yards) and tennis court will entertain you. A pleasant garden protected by an ancient wall and an antique greenhouse are on the grounds behind the wintergarden. Splendid formal gardens with countless small pathways are a perfect terrain for beautiful hikes and discoveries. Paris is a half hour away by car and 45 minutes by train, and EuroDisney is 20 minutes away. An outstanding choice for a restful, unique holiday.
