The van der Meer Estate is a hidden jewel of a property, lovingly and thoughtfully furnished to create the ultimate rental retreat for tranquillity, indulgence and luxury. It has been built from local stone in traditional Paxiot style by the artist owner. The interiors, light and airy, combine a rustic contemporary style with unique bohemian artistic finishes. Naturally these complement all the modern conveniences required for a relaxing and comfortable holiday.
The interlinking villa and romantic Round House boast two private swimming pools, two outdoor summer kitchens and colourful gardens carefully designed to offer a variety of private and shaded areas to escape to. Overlooking the turquoise Ionian with an 180 degree panoramic view of Corfu and the Pindos Mountains the Estate has a 5 minute secluded woodland walk directly from the grounds to Lakkos Beach, thought by many to be the island’s prettiest. Alternatively a similar walk brings guests to the very trendy Monodendri beach arriving at Ben’s Bar, definitely regarded as Paxos’ chicest daytime hang out. This walk takes about 10 minutes.
Conveniently located between the pretty villages of Lakka and Loggos The van der Meer Estate is the perfect base from which to explore the enchanting islands of Paxos and the nearby Anti-Paxos.
