This property had plenty of room and upstairs and downstairs to allow privacy with access to outside. Nice and accessible hot tub and kitchen lay outs.

As our family had transitioned to all adults over the summer we chose to take a trip instead of trying to give in other ways this Christmas. It couldn't have been better! Sheryl was a joy to work with from the beginning, and her cheerful spirit permeated each area of the large comfortable house. We even had a surprise visit one morning from a family of deer outside the front porch along with more memories that will be cherished in years to come, such as relaxing in the well maintained hot tub, listening to laughter, and watching as the winners of games revelled in their victories. Clean when we arrived and easy to clean before we left. Spacious enough that even with a party of 11 one could sneak away for a bit of solitude. Town and entertainment minutes away on good roads. Well equipped for cooking. Everything needed and then more. Thank you, for the blessing of being guests in your home. December 8th-10th 2011

This house is amazing! The rooms are beautiful and roomy. The children has so much fun with all the games that had been supplied by the owner, to inlcude all the movies. The house has two kitchens, dinning area, living area. We used an area for the kids and the other for adults. Perfect! The pictures of the house doesn't fully capture the beauty of this home. "You have to visit to understand what I mean" The surrounding are peacful, Deers walking around and the best part of it all is that the grocery store, gas station, ER are short minutes away. Perfect place, close to shopping, grocering... We loved the stay, that we reserved it for next year. Thanks you, Ms. Gonzales El Paso, Texas

The members of our family had a fantastic vacation here getting out of the hot West Texas weather. Thanks for letting us use your spacious cabin, hot tub an inviting porches. Had a great time! Came from Florida, Ohio, NM and TX. Saw lots of deer. The kids named one of the deer Stephanie so all females became Stephanie! (Oh, and Bob :-) Saw a bear, too! Fishing for the guys and shopping for the girls was great! Please refill the hummingbird feeder. We bought it for the next family's enjoyment!

Sheryl, Wow! What an amazing time we've had! Plenty of room and super clean! Thanks! Our first day was awesome! We enjoyed a visit from a beautiful black bear! Throughout our time we also had visits from deer. My niece was a little upset because they never came close enough to pet :-). We had a great time here in New Mexico. We enjoyed horseback riding at Grindstone stables and sledding at White Sands. Oh, and the petroglyphs in 3 Rivers were outstanding!!! Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful home!! We loved it!!!

This was perfect for our family reunion. We are also serious birdwatchers so the hummingbird nest on the back of the house was delightful and very entertaining. We just wanted to say that we had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. There is so much room to move around when you have 14 people staying in one house. The beds were sooo wonderful! Very confortable. The location was great. It didn't take long to get anywhere. Oh, and the deer were frequently stopping by the back deck. Was so cool! My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this rental. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of skiing and the deer really were amazingly tame. We had 12 people staying together and we had plenty of room. Only thing you might want to make note of is that the bathroom on the main floor is in the master bedroom, not in a hallway. The other bath is downstairs, so it's not too far to travel.

Three generations of a loving caring family. What a beautiful, fun home to be together in. There were 4 grandparents, 7 adults and 5 children and we were all very happy to be in this home and the house accommodated all of us! We welcomed in the New Year 2011. We were from Napa Valley, CA, San Antonio, Alvin, Grapevine, and Granbury, TX. This is a great house! And a great place to be!

We all had a super time! What a beautiful place! We enjoyed the mule deer outside here. Please take a skiing lesson before you ski! The hot tub was great! Tubing and skiing is so much fun!! This home is so cozy! We enjoyed spending Christmas here with the whole family! If you want to go Christmas caroling, make sure you leave the lights on outside the house. We enjoyed the whole experience.

Comment from our cabin guestbook: Thanks for the opportunity to use your wonderful home. It was the perfect size for our mini-family reunion. The kids enjoyed the scenic back and front porch, and the many animals. The adults enjoyed the downtime and the hot tub. The grill was put to good use...you may want to fill up the propane tank. The side burner was used for a generous supply of S'mores. Some family members took advantage of the fishing in the area; some members took advantage of the jogging and hiking trails. Overall we had a fantastic time!

We have made it back to a place where friends and family have made memories that will last a lifetime. Our stay has been a pleasant one just like our first. We cooked, baked together, and at like there was no tomorrow. We celebrated a birthday. We fed the deer near the house, and enjoyed the hot tub. What is most important to us is the time all the kids spent together. This is a home away from home where everyone is treated like family under one roof. Had a wonderful time. The weather was great! Nice the first two days so we had time to learn how to ski. Then....it snowed and snowed. Was great for the kids. The deer are so friendly. We fed them corn and sat in the hot tub and watched them eat. The house was nice. Had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your home. A memory we will always remember. 13 of us spent 4 days in your cabin in Oct. There were 7 adults and 6 kids age from 2 to 10. The kids loved having their own room on the top floor. We put some on the air mattress and 2 in the beds. They were able to play outside in the large area around the house. They loved feeding the deer. We were all comfortable and really enjoyed the time we spent there. Thanks so much!!!

We enjoyed this place along with tubing and Ski Apache! Also, if you get snow down here at the house and you brought sleds, you can sled down the driveway on the left side of the house into the forest! :-)

We had a blast feeding the deer. By the way, they love apples! WE had 10 deer at the back porch one morning. I guess the word got out! LOL We went to Winter Park, that was fun. FYI, they give military discounts. Bonita Stables offers horseback riding and it is well worth it! We rode through Lincoln National Forest. On our last day we took western pictures, how fun! Our 16 year old picked up skiing in 10 minutes and was running the difficult slopes. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed! Thanks for an awesome visit! Merry Christmas!
