Our spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom condominium is located right on the beach at beautiful Half-Moon Bay. The Bay is renowned for its water - calm, clear water- amazing wildlife- and nearly deserted beaches!!! There are palapas and beach chairs right in front of the condo for your relaxation. Beautiful Yal Ku Lagoon is also within walking distance!!! Jacques Cousteau claimed Half-Moon Bay at Akumal as his favorite snorkeling spot.
The balcony overlooks the pool and Half-Moon Bay- there's a hammock for great snoozes and relaxation. Daily maid service, a romantic restaurant on the premises, and a large deck make this the perfect vacation get-away. The condo is on the second floor and was recently remodeled.
In addition to the beachfront little restaurant on-premises - La Lunita, there are many other excellent (and fun) restaurants within walking distance. There are also several fun bars in Akumal, and the night life of Playa del Carmen is a short drive away.
Akumal is a quiet and restful village located an easy 1 hour drive south of Cancun. The ferry to Cozumel is a 30 minute drive to Playa del Carmen. Also nearby are the archeological ruins of Tulum and Coba. Akumal proper has a convenience store, money exchange and ATM,Internet cafes, post office, car rental, bus stop, library, gift shops, a Travel Services center, several dive shops and fishing charters. |
