We are just a 20 minute walk to Mary’s Lake Lodge for great entertainment and dining. The property is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped peaks and plenty of blue skies and bright stars. You can build a fire in our outdoor pit and sit and watch stars under clear skies.
Your family will enjoy our smoke-free vacation home with its lovely furnishings and moss rock fireplace. We have extremely comfortable and firm pillow-topped king beds in two of the bedrooms and in the third we have a set of high quality pillow-topped twins. From the bedroom windows you can often see deer and elk coming down from the Roosevelt forest as you wake in the morning. Since our dining room and den is completely surrounded by picture windows, dinners are complemented with sunset views of Lumpy’s Ridge, the Snow-capped Mummy Range and the beautiful Estes Valley, as well as frequent visits from hummingbirds, blue birds, elk, deer, rabbits and occasional bear, coyote or mountain lion (very rare).

Cabin with Incredible Views in Estes Park
Year Purchased: 2006
Why the Owner Chose Estes Park
When we found this cabin, we knew it would be the perfect home for us. It needed a bit of work, but the mountain views from the picture windows and deck sold us on the home. The quite location in a private treed neighborhood sealed the deal. Being close to the activities of Estes Park without any of the hustle and bustle was exactly what we were looking for. Wildlife roam through the property regularly and often decide to stay for a while. The cabin itself is spacious and with the hardwood floors and beautiful warm decor, we can't imagine we could have found a more perfect home for us to enjoy and share with our guests.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We love waking to deer, elk, wild turkeys, and/or hummingbirds outside our bedroom window, then sitting out on the deck for breakfast breathing in the fresh mountain air. Typically, we head out for a hike to an alpine lake early so we can get back to enjoy a relaxed BBQ on the deck. Later we might spend the evening watching for shooting stars while we build a small campfire in the firepit and maybe roast a few marshmellows. It is our place to relax and get away to the quite solitude that nature has to offer, yet still have all the comforts of home.
Owner's Map of Estes Park
We love the beautiful Rocky Mountains anytime of year. Bob loves to fly fish. We both love hiking, cross-country skiing and just enjoying sitting by an alpine lake reading a book. When the opportunity came for us to purchase our own piece of paradise, we couldn't resist. We loved every moment we spent rennovating this lovely cabin that was originally located in Rocky Mountain National Park.

We had a wonderful visit in Estes Park. The cabin was neat and very well equipped. The bedding was lush and the kitchen contained quality pots and pans...even a cook book. There were brochures for local activities and restaurants but I especially enjoyed the journal that was left by previous guest detailing their exploits in the area! The front room was by far my favorite. The view is breathtaking. Karen responded to my questions quickly via e-mail. I almost passed this listing because the photo made the home look so small. It actually sits up on a hill making it difficult to photograph. Don't be fooled, there is a lot of special things about this property. Karen & Kelly Thomas Atlanta, GA
Owner response:It is always a warm feeling to know our guests feel the same way we do about our home in the Rockies. For many people vacations come only once a year. It is important to us that our home is a place where our guests want to come back year after year and many do. Bob & Karen

We have stayed all over Estes and I have to say that this has been one of my favorite homes to stay in. It had a nice view with a great deck and lots of deer and even a bear visited us! It's decor reminded me of the store Pottery Barn. I would highly recommend renting this property for a small family. The only thing I missed was cable but who needs to watch TV when you are in the mountains!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had such a wondeful time at this cabin. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed to feel at home. Our daughter loved watching the hummingbirds on the big deck and we really enjoyed looking at the mountains from the sunroom. We also liked having the firepit to roast marshmellows over while we sat and talked about our days' adventures. We will certainly stay again when we head back to Estes Park. Thank you!
Owner response:We are very happy you enjoyed our home as much as we do. Hope to see you again. Bob & Karen
