My husband, puppy, and I went to stay in their loft home for two nights. The home was very well designed. Functional and beautiful. We could see the ocean from the loft, we had a nice little porch, and a lovely backyard area with a bridge over the stream and a hammock too. The floor was perfect for bringing a pet, very hardly, and painted a lovely turquoise color which complimented the color of the wood nicely. The kitchen had everything, including some spices and condiments, wine, and even a microwave that looked big enough to cook a thanksgiving turkey. The bed was very comfy, with Downey pillows, and a soft top. The Internet, while it only worked in one room, was very fast and reliable. The location is also perfect, situated in a nice neighborhood, close enough to the main part of Yachats to walk to it, and right next to a trail that follows the stunningly beautiful coast line. There is also a park nearby. The neighbors were friendly too. We really didn't want to leave, it felt so much like a home away from home. There were a few toys for families with kids, extra slippers, easy and quiet temperature control, extra coats and jackets, and plenty of towels. The owners were very nice, helpful, and approachable as well. Yes, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Oasis, it was the perfect size for our family of five. Thank you for having a wonderful selection of movies, when we we are not traveling, we all enjoyed snuggling up together as a family to watch the movies. It was awesome to have a washer and dryer in the house, we came home with suitcases of clean clothes, rather than having to wash 11 days worth of clothing when we got home. We enjoyed the hometown festivities of the 4th of July in Yachats - the parade, the farmers market, the homemade pie, all the vendors, the Michael Jackson dancer, too darn cute, and sitting under the fireworks was simply amazing!!! We stayed at the Ocean Loft and absolutely loved it from the moment we walked in. It was completely remodeled and my husband (a carpenter) was very impressed with the workmanship. The home provided ample room for my husband and I, two teenage girls and 2 big labs. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and they even provided movies, games and music for our entertainment. We had never rented a vacation home before and this experience has spoiled us from going anywhere else! Mark and Jannah were wonderful and we really appreciated being able to clean up before we left and not get charged a cleaning fee. We would recommend their rentals to anybody wanting a nice, relaxing home away from home vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

"We just returned from 3 days at Yachats Sunset and wish we could have stayed for 3 months! Our friend from Portland arrived at the house before us and texted us one word - "WOW". That says it all. This is a truly delightful rental that is literally a couple of steps from the ocean. The house is lovingly maintained by owners Mark and Jannah who are the most conscientious and sweet people imaginable. From the luxurious sateen sheets to the fully equipped kitchen to the brand new washer and dryer to the beautiful and comfortable furnishings throughout the house, Yachats Sunset is simply wonderful. The west windows flood the large open floor plan with light and the unrestricted ocean view will make you weep with gratitude. We watched whales, pelicans, fishing boats, gulls, crashing waves, sea stars on the rocks and of course, amazing sunsets. We will not search further for our favorite place to stay in Yachats. This is it. We can't thank Mark and Jannah enough for making this special - and incredibly reasonable - rental available. Our family of 4 stayed comfortably at the Oasis property for a last-minute getaway from Portland. We were so impressed by the thoughtfulness of the owners, Mark and Jannah, who accommodated us at the last minute and made sure even after we arrived that we were happy with the house. Our kids were over-the-moon with all the toys and kids videos available in the house, while the grown-ups enjoyed the ample reading materials, films, and music CDs. Anyone who's into new-age spirituality will be amazed at the library here! The house was better appointed than our own, clean and comfortable, and clearly lovingly decorated and infused with happy energy. A very nice experience.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We came to relax and show our black lab the beach. The snow and ice made the beach walk less attractive, so we stayed in. Everything about the house made us comfortable, relaxed and enjoy our stay very much. Angelic Haven is so homey and lovely, we felt we were staying with good friends. The owners are responsive and care very much that eveything is taken care of. It was a cozy place to hear the ocean waves, listen to the rain on the roof, and simply take it all in. Thank you so much for a wonderful two days.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

We had a great time in Yahats and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. They provided things we needed which made the visit very pleasant. It was nicely decorated and all the linens, kitchen utensils or things you need were provided so you really did not need to worry. The cottage was very comfortable and well taken care of. It was almost like a home!! The area was very beautiful and people were friendly. We will definately go back to spend our vacation up there and in the cottage again. We say this was the best stay we had in our traveling history!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

We had a most magical beautiful time together in your angelic home. Each year we get together for our nurturing retreat and loved having a place to laugh and cry and heal one another. Then there's that incredible ocean to enjoy....ahhhh! With gratitude, from the Aries Women, Judy and the girls. Mark and Jannah moved to Oregon in 2002 and searched the Oregon coast for that special place to develop a vacation home rental business. Yachats has that magic we were looking for, small town feel, friendly folks, limited commercial development, no fast food and no casinos were all important factors in our selection.
