  Our two week stay (Nascar speed week and the following week) at this condo was everything we had hoped for and exactly as described on the VRBO website. It was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed. The other furnishings were also comfortable. There was plenty of space, especially since it was just the two of us. There was plenty of parking. Ruthann was great to work with. She is on top of things and assumes nothing. She responded quickly to our emails during the planning stage. She checked with us a couple of weeks before our trip to be sure we had received the keys. She called after we arrived to make sure everything was ok. She returned the security deposit promptly. Ponce Inlet is a great location, much more relaxed than other beaches in the area. We walked on the beach every morning and didn’t have to be concerned with vehicles. From the balcony, we spotted dolphins on several occasions. The pool was the perfect temperature. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area. Don’t hesitate to rent this condo. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

  We really enjoyed staying in this condo. It was clean and well decorated, except I would have put a large shell on the dining table instead of the flowers. The view of the ocean was sooo beautiful!!! The walking on the uncrowded beach was such a highlight for us as well as listening to the waves at night so relaxing. Ruthann was so comfortable and easy to talk to and make all the arrangements for the stay. We had never rented a condo before so what an amazing and wonderful experience. We hope to go again next year. I would definitely recommend this condo to family and friends.....Well, actually, I already have. Thanks Ruthann.

  We absolutely loved staying in this condo! You cannot beat the amazing view of the ocean or having immediate access to such a private, peaceful, no drive beach. We walked the beach endlessly and enjoyed awesome waves for boogie boarding nearly every day! The pool was heated and very enjoyable. The condo unit and building were very clean. The condo was quiet and had everything we needed for cooking, comfortable sleeping, and entertainment. I never missed a sunrise while sipping a morning coffee on the porch because they were SO beautiful. We did indeed see dolphins quite a bit and even had one or two give us a high leap and a spin! Ruthann was so great to work with (just like everyone had said!). Our family is going to do everything we can to stay in this wonderful condo again someday!

  My family and I recently visited Florida for the week and rented this condominium from the Mason family on Ponce Inlet. Firstly, Ruthann is great to deal with and responds to whatever questions or concerns you may have in a timely manner. She even calls to make sure you got in allright and answer any other questions you might have once you have arrived. The condo is exactly as it looks in pictures. Very nicely furished with an ample amount of living space. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils and baking supplies as well as a toaster and blender. The condo even has boogieboards, a tent, beach chairs, cooler as well as playing cards board games and VCR. The condo was clean as was the entire property. In fact all of Ponce Inlet is extremely clean and well manicured.There were many things to do such as Hydro Biking, Para Sailing, Deep Sea Fishing, Kennedy Space Center, Universal and Daytona Speed Way to name a few off the top of my head. All these attractionsnwere within 5 minutes to one hour of Ponce Inlet. 95 is a very easy drive so getting to these destinations is literally only a "hop and a skip." We actually did see a few Manatees when we went Hydro Biking down by the Light House. People say that you can see Dolphins early in the morning swimming like parallel to the waves. We checked every morning but did not see any Dolphins. Wifey was a little bummed but.....when we went to dinner our last night there at Down The Hatch as we were listening to the band and waiting for our appetizers my son spotted a Dolphin in the water as did a few other customers. Cameras came out, people were walking down to the dock to catch picturers and mommy finally saw her Dolphins. No worries. Rent this condo. It is exactly what it says it is.No worries, no misrepresentation, scams/spam here. Ruthann is a great person to deal with as has been mentioned on most all the reviews. P.S. Whoever commented about the patio not having a good view????? The patio is nice because it has a concrete barrier so that you can't see your neighbors patio. I kind of like that type of privacy.

  Rode down from Illinois to Daytona for bike week with my son and two buddies. Excellent Condo on the beach with nice views. Sand is awesome, Beach is clean and not crowded. Owner is very responsive and friendly. Area is quiet but close to Daytona without all the hustle and bustle. Perfect place to relax. Bike week Rocked with all the Bikes and people to see. Good Food Everywhere we ate in Daytona. Very Relaxing Restaurant called Light House Landing on the Inlet. Reasonable Wave Runner Rentals next to the Restaurant. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again. You wont be disappointed!

  This condo was perfect for our family of 4, everything we needed in the kitchen and boogie boards to use in the closet! It was comfortable and offered plenty of space for us. We drove to Legoland one day, about 1.45 hours away and had a great time also. The beach was wonderful, there were people to meet and enjoy and other children for our boys to play with but not so many that there was more than 1 "row" of cabana's on the beach. WONDERFUL restaurants nearby, I will review them on TripAdvisor. We had an enjoyable tour at the Lighthouse and a really great morning at the Marine Science Museum, it has a great sea-turtle rehab center and sting-ray petting area and it's about a 5 min drive. The pool was clean and a great temperature.

  My stay at Southpointe condos was great. Very quiet end of town and my wife and grandson felt very safe and secure as opposed to when we stay in the heart of Daytona. Beach was very nice and clean. Traffic was never a problem and the dining choices were great. Got to see a rocket launch from the balcony which was a huge plus....

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

  This is my 7th year of going to Ponce Inlet, and I love it. It is my 2nd year at the Southpoint Condo room 402. It is a safe place to stay, right at the beach with a place to clean up after, and a nice pool. Condo is always clean and has everything you need. Owner is very friendly and easy to work with.

  Our family had a wonderful time at the Condo. The owner is a great person to deal with, she is very prompt and organized. The condo has easy access to the beach and the beach is very wide and the water is swallow, especially in low tide, this is great if you have little ones. It was truly a great family vacation, we hope to go back soon! I would write more good details about the Condo, but the folks at VRBO keep denying the my review.. 3rd times a charm!

  My husband and I stayed in the condo for the month of January, 2012 and were pleased because the online description and pictures were very good and the whole place was maintained well and very clean. Ruthann was always very helpful and totally honest in all our dealings with her and we would recommend a stay here to friends and family. We ate at many different restaurants while there, but our favorite was The Daily Grind, a small hamburger and steak place.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
