Nervous about a cold or rainy day and what you'll do with the kids? No worries, you can take them to Sunset Island's indoor heated pool! Open all year long with a certified lifeguard on duty, you can relax in the chaise lounge chairs while your kids burn energy playing Marco Polo. Full-size locker rooms with saunas help you melt your troubles away before you retreat to your memory foam mattresses for a peaceful nights' sleep.
Like to relax and watch TV while on vacation? All of the bedrooms have flat screen televisions to enjoy, while the Family Room has the largest at 32 inch. Best view is from the sofa; you can watch the tube and glance to the right out at the Bay. You can also enjoy this view from the master bedroom which also has it's own private soaking tub big enough for two! Why the Owner Chose Sunset Island
We as a family have vacationed to O.C. for many years, and have stayed on the Ocean side as well as bay side. When we were renting a place in 2006 nearby, we saw an ad for this place, Sunset Island, and thought we should check it out. As we toured the Island, it was love a first sight. The charming architecture and cozy streets where very inviting, but what swept us away was the clubhouse and pool. Not only did it over look the bay, but it also resembled that of a caribbean destination we had once visited. We chose to purchase this condo not only for our families to enjoy for years ahead, but also to give renting families an experience unlike any other in Ocean City, Maryland. With the Island's warm earth tone colors and our home decorum, you'll feel welcome and relaxed and you will surely come back again to enjoy it.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
One reason our place is so unique to others in Ocean City is that it is self contained. All the amenities you'd need are right there on the Island. A food market with hand-scooped ice cream, an outdoor grill cafe, walking trails, marina... and we have our own private "beaches" throughout the island that allow your kids to play safely without fear of big waves or massive crowds. Also, the Island has a crabbing pier that you can fish or just enjoy the views on the bay. Follow the walking path that goes the perimeter of the Island and it shows off all the amenities available to you, and is great for sunset walks. They have outdoor movie nights all summer long which serve popcorn and drinks. The indoor pool saves you from a boring rainy day. And for an off-Island adventure, you can walk to the O.C. bus stop which will take you all throughout the Island. Relaxing in our condo in the family room is the best way to relax at night since our view looks out onto the bay and ocean skyline. Simply breathtaking.

Hello. My name is Megan Aitken, and along with my husband and parents, I am one of the owners of this lovely condo at Sunset Island. We have a 3 year old Daughter and 1 yr old twins, and one of our favorite memories from staying at our condo is watching them play with the Island's Interactive fountains. Something different you'd never find elsewhere, along with the baby pool and beaches, we just love bringing them and watching them smile. My parents love using the place with friends to enjoy a quiet and "Caribbean" style getaway. We've opened up our home to many other family members and friends that have said the same thing... that it was the greatest Ocean City vacation they've ever had.

I would like to thank Megan and her family for allowing us to stay in their beautiful home. The pictures dont do it justice, as it is even prettier in person..I called it "beach chic". Everything is there, that you would need, beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, cleaning and laundry supplies with a washer & dryer right in the unit. Not all of the condo units in this resort have water views, but this one does, and it is close to the fountains and general store. They went out of their way to make sure our vacation was as pleasurable as possible and the little extra surprise was great!! It was very clean and well maintained. Rentals can take a hit fast but this one still looks new. the resort has so many amenities, the food & drink service by the pool really made it feel like you were in an "island". The showers off the pool allowed you to stay past check out time and enjoy the resort, then shower up, get a bite to eat and head home....We hope to return soon thank you Liane
