The home was exactly as descibed it was very clean and had everything you needed and more! The view was beautiful. Dave & Sue were fantastic, very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to going back and have told all our friends and family about the great time & experience we had.Owner response: It was a pleasure having Kevin and his family stay at our camp. Exactly as described! Clean,immaculate, and fully-loaded! Plenty of room, HUGE kitchen. We were able to enjoy the tranquility, sightsee, and visit friends & relatives. Yard was nice and spacious, and our dog Ozzy was welcome with open arms.We loved the fire pit ! Plenty of tables and chairs to relax, or you can use the grill and picnic tables for a BBQ. Living room included a stereo, full library of books, games, and brochures of all the sites/activities available ....Also a TV/DVD for the rainy days! Dave and Sue were as nice as could be! Met all of our expectations, and we would gladly go back anytime!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful, peaceful place. We had a great many tubing adventures, and food adventures(Chocolate factory, Ben & Jerry's which we highly recomend) We also went to some state parks. We were very thankful for modern day technology(LCD TV, WiFi,Microwave)as manny camps don't. And both dog's enjoyed playing with your's. Lot's of thanks for a wonderful time. We packed the cottage with four adults, four children, and four dogs! It was a beautiful weekend and the kids had so much fun. Everyone caught at least one fish, mostly perch. Though I found the water a bit chilly the kids spent most of the weekend swimming in it. The huge fire pit was great for roasting marshmellows and making smores. The huge front yard was especially loved by our big dog Sully who also enjoyed a romp with the Fisher's Golden Retrievers. It was great to be able to share a place my sisters and I had spent every summer in when our grandfather had owned property there with our children. We were fortunate the the weather didn't overly windy until the morning we were leaving. On our arrival we found a baby bird in the yard who's mother whisked away, a toad anda frog. Our kids loved seeing all the creatures! And it was great to be able to skip some stones, though I found I am rustier than I thought. You couldn't ask for nicer people to rent from!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Thank you very much for a beautiful week at the lake. It was nice to find a place where our whole family, including our 3 dogs could all get together! We loved kayaking and swimming in the lake, and it was nice to have several great parks within biking distance. We also had fun venturing a bit further away for a tour and taste of ice cream at Ben + Jerry's factory-Yum Thanks Again BobRecommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers.

Such a wonderfully peaceful setting. The lake is right outside the front door. You can sit in the Ardirondack chairs or the swing and just enjoy the lovely view, or sit on the dock and dangle your feet in the pristine water. Dave and Sue have fully equipped the cottage with everything you need to feel right at home. They are exceptionally delightful people and will try to accommodate any unforeseen needs (though we were not at a loss for anything). They even welcomed our dog, Cecil, who enjoyed the companionship of their golden retriever, George. Wonderful peaceful setting. Large yard for lots of outdoor activity. I really loved the idea of the guests puttering in the house gardens.
