The Cottage, the original ranch house

 

Location: Bulverde, Hill Country, Texas, USA (20 minutes north of the airport, 30 minutes from San Antonio)

Accommodations:  Two Homes, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths (Sleeps 9-12)

Two small homes on 211 acre cattle and wildlife ranch 20 minutes north of San Antonio. The B&B is beside the ranch headquarters, next to the swimming pool.It is rented separately as Cibolo Creek B&B on VRBO.Located in the Texas Hill country both houses are close enough to San Antonio to enjoy its amenities but far enough away to give you a rural, calm and five degree cooler experience in South Texas. The nightly price applies to both centrally airconditioned houses, which can sleep as many as twelve.
The Cottage is approximately 1100 square feet. It was the original ranch house. It is located about 300 feet down the road from the B&B. Both recently remodeled properties have full kitchens, central air and heat, and televisions. Ideal for families and small groups.The living room has a small cast iron stove for cozy winter visits, a large fully-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. The cottage is near the barns, so you can watch our horses and wildlife come and go for water in the nearby troughs as you sit outside under the huge ancient stand of live oaks.
The living room and bedroom have ceiling fans, and you are welcome to relax on the huge front porch in front of the headquarters next door, where you are invited to kick back in a rocking chair to the sound of the swimming pool's waterfall, and laugh at the antics of the migratory hummingbirds and purple martins. The owner will take you on a guided nature walk, and when you "rent the Ranch " we treat you to a camp fire,conditions permitting, and we'll provide the s'mores.

  • Two homes, each able to sleep as many as 6 on a 211 acre ranch with 3 horses. Guests can join the owners in the mornings to help with feeding. Includes campfire, conditions permitting. We'll provide the s'mores.

  • Pet Friendly: Only one yard is fenced. $25 charge per day for pets. Pets must not sleep on furniture.
