This condominium home has two bedrooms and 2 full baths (1 master suite with a king bed and a second bedroom with 1 queen bed - there is also a pull-out queen sofa bed in the living room). With over 1100 interior square feet and an additional 144 square feet of covered lanai it is a spacious alternative to staying in a hotel. The ground level lanai abuts the sixth green of the Kings’ golf course and has an unobstructed view of the Kohala Mountain.
This home has been fully outfitted - the kitchen has a range, microwave, GE Profile refrigerator, and dishwasher. A full-size stacking washer and dryer are also located within the unit. Cable, internet, and unlimited local and long-distance phone calls are included in the rate ensuring your entertainment and comfort. New hardwood floors were installed in 2009 updating this already beautiful interior.
Fairway Villas has a beautiful recreation center with an infinity edged pool, hot tub, and small workout facility within a one minute walk of the unit. These facilities are restricted to use by the owners and guests at Fairway Villas - Guests and residents are welcome to use the BBQs located near the pool which are maintained by the Association.
World-class Kohala Coast golf courses are within minutes of this home including the Beach and Kings’ courses at Waikoloa Beach, the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Prince courses, and the North and South Mauna Lani courses. Wonderful restaurants are within walking distance from the Fairway Villas including Roy’s Waikoloa and Merriman's Cafe in the Kings’ Shops.

This was a top notch rental unit. We enjoyed our stay and it was hard to leave. The owner was very helpful prior to renting and arrival and everything was as the pictures and info on the listing stated. Location was great. We enjoyed being close to the Kings and Queens shops and had lots of walks to the shops in the evenings. Great location for exploring the island. The view of the golfcourse and mountians from the unit. Hope we have the opportunity to return.

We just returned from an amazing 12 days in Kona (for a family wedding) ... a big part of this was staying at the Fairway Villas. From start to finish, the experience was awesome. [Similar to previous posts] the unit was even better in 'live' than in pictures. The unit was well-appointed (incl. the kitchen), spacious and very clean. The condo's location is fantastic ... walking distance to the King Shops, the Queen's Marketplace and A-bay (where the sunsets were awesome). The condo's amenities were equally superb ... with the fitness center, common BBQ area and pool near the unit. Worth noting, Hapuna Beach [State Park] is about a 10 min drive north of the condo ... definitely well worth the drive and visit. An amazing beach. The owner(s) were very helpful and responsive to all of our inquiries and even sent us some local restaurant coupons for use in the surrounding vicinity (thank you very much). We will definitely return to the Fairway Villas ... hopefully sooner than later ... and would highly recommend this property to friends & family. Check it out!

My family and I stayed in this unit for one week at the end of April 2010, and had such a fantastic time on the Big Island. The unit is conveniently located within walking distance to the Kings' and Queens' shops and nearby beaches. The unit has everything for an enjoyable stay, down to some beach toys for the children. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time on the Big Island of Hawaii. Staying for 2 weeks we found the condo excellent. It had everything we needed for our visit. The location is perfect. You can walk to the nearby A Beach or visit other beaches just a very short drive away. The market across the street makes it really easy to pick up groceries for dining in. We will definitely return!

We have stayed in this unit for 2 weeks in April 2009 and really like it. The place looks better in real life than in pictures. It is very conveniently located close to shops (2 minute walk), grocery stores, restaurants and beach. The units is very comfortable and spacious. It has everything that a family might need for a long vacation. I wish we stayed there for a whole month. I definitely recommend it.
