Safety and Comfort in Fascinating Puerto Rico

Most Americans know too little about Puerto Rico, which offers an exciting international travel experience, at our doorstep, with all the comforts of home. Beginning with basics, like can I drink the tap water- YES, the people are warm and helpful, though most speak Spanish, and only a little English, The apartment was wonderfully located, we used the gym at the hotel, our favorite activity was long walks on the beach. In the past, we'd been disappointed by beach locations, where the sand was too soft for comfortably walking, or property lines make long walks impossible. Here the beach is perfect, quiet, we experienced some of our best beach walks ever. Puerto Rican food is very interesting-featuring Pork and Chicken entrées. Coffee's great. Supermarkets and kiosks make local dining easy (with car). Landlady was elegant, attentive, and practical.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.
